You can see the voltage suddenly jumps to the max, the charger errors out.

Re: Mitsubishi outlander charger and DC:DC

Damn, Savvycan doesn't seem to support that format. I tend to like using it to decode with a DBC and plotting various values.
Can it it export into a Savvycan supported format?

Re: VW Charge port PP resistance

Maybe I'll bin off the idea of the little GTE charger and get one of the more powerful ones for the BMW anyway, but I did have ODIS hooked up while I was playing around with it.

It's a shame the pico post photos are poor resolution, makes them hard to have a good look at.

My outlander charger has been faultless for last 2 years and 10k miles. Stick up a CAN log and I'll see if anything jumps out.

Re: VW Charge port PP resistance

I coded out the charge lock, but it still seemed to want it in there. Could you measure the resistances on the the lock if you get chance? Both unconnected and with a plug locked in there? The lock pin can over extend if there's no connector in there. Just to double check that. No rush, I won't be l...

Re: 1984 Voltswagen Rabbit

Zombieverter is able to get more from the GS450h than OEM does we bypass the Buck boost and use MG1 for power. I suggest the Prius with zombie for the reason of proving or disproving if it works well with zombie. Worse case, you have to put on OI board in there at a later date. Depends on if you wan...

Forgot to post the last episode.

Anyway, since then, I've managed to repair the damaged thread in the oil pump housing, by using a helicoil type insert.

Re: VW Golf GTE Contactor Box

The isolation monitoring isn't in Zombie, just FYI. I'm not sure what what they can handle, I only found the commands to close the contactors and do the isolation test, Damien did the other bits, so I'm not sure about the shunt. I think the contactors are rated 120A continuous/ 225A for 3 min / 400a...

I did but don't have the value to hand at the moment, it didn't help with getting the charger working though.

The same rack apparently in 1 series and 3 series, didn't actually need coding, but I guess if I want to change the level of assistance it would. https://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2018604 It has the CAS system but it's not a problem. It's puts it's state on the can bus, Zombieverter pi...

Re: [WIP] BMW E91 320d 2006

So this last week I've replaced the steering rack with the electric one, it just worked with the can messages zombie outputs for the E65, just needed the can wires attaching and the other one to pin 7 on the ECU connector. I've taken the oil pump off to replace the bearings, though they don't look i...

For science, I would vote you put a prius unit in there with zombie control. Welded PSD just to see what it can do.

Love this. Facebook Marketplace is indeed dangerous. I always agree to buy stuff before my brain manages to catch up and decide that nothing good will come of it.

Haha, I've in the past just attached a photo of my phone number and email and they've caught on and contacted me outside of eBay. Also if business seller, it lists their details, find em in Google and contact them.

Re: [WIP] BMW E91 320d 2006

I've got my inverter mount/locking plate now finished and painted in hammerite. Started wiring zombie into the car. Car is now coded as automatic, coded the Kombi, CAS and FRM. So my dash now shows the selected gear, but the FRM isn't turning on the reverse light unless I ground the manual transmiss...

Re: Jaguar XJ6 V12 will be electric!!!

Not sure we have Camry inverters here in the UK, not sure where OP is from, but the plates and vehicles look outside of US, so may not have Camry inverters available. Note the GS450h seems to have have LHD and RHD variants, see wiki.

Re: Jaguar XJ6 V12 will be electric!!!

That's a gs450h transmission right? You'll want a GS450h inverter to do with it. Pretty standard setup for RWD cars and Zombie will have no problems.

Welcome. Been following your videos for a while, good to see you here. Checkout the Zombieverter VCU if you want to branch out in future projects, it supports more motor/inverter setups as well as chademo/CCS probably a little more difficult to use than commercial VCUs though

Bottom mount is there and fairly new. I think the bolts had loosened as the one's that hadn't snapped were pretty loose. So they'll have been getting repeatedly slammed in to. ABS sensor not plugged in at the moment so i can drive will be investigating after xmas
