HVJB:
With the charging and DC-DC working on the bench, spent some time packaging and tidying the HVJB where the PCS will be housed. Toying with the idea of housing the Orion 2 BMS unit here too

Re: L322 RR Vogue - The beached whale
Update: It's been a while since the last update, but there have been a number of odds and ends rumbling along in the background. Still waiting for the repaired motor to transfer case drive shaft so I can spin the wheels for the first time, but the Zombieverter and wiring looms have been transferred...

Re: can id´s 4 Gear Selector
Did some more testing this evening. Starting off, the selector was raised from previous tests when I couldn't get it to retract. I played back all the Gen1 and Gen2 CAN logs using savvycan, and the Gen1 logs periodically activated the internal lock, changed the P-R-N-D-S lights but none lowered the ...

Re: can id´s 4 Gear Selector
Can you get it to raise with playing back only the 0x3F3 of https://github.com/Tom-evnut/Land-Rover-Gearknob/blob/main/Can%20Logs%20Gen1%20Knob/Gen%201%20Knob%20Logs/awake%20raise%20knob.csv I will check this evening. Re: can id´s 4 Gear Selector
That seems to fit with the logs I have for my GSM. Have you tried the sketch I posted? Good question! I previously tested your code and it partially worked for me but knob would not retract (i do think it raised, and rotated though). But that was before I knew about the park input signal on pin 14 ...

Re: can id´s 4 Gear Selector
Hope this can help a bit. I tested both the new Gen1 and Gen2 sketches on my unit. So like VanGogh, neither is getting any action from the selector. However, from previously running some of Tom's CAN logs from Savvycan, the knob did raise but wouldn't retract. When Gen1 sketch started running, the k...

Re: can id´s 4 Gear Selector
I don't understand. Maybe my GSM doesn't work with this code? Because on the video of the seller from Aliexpress there is no mine. Does anyone have a video review of working GSM with arduino? How to make the knob move? I haven't been able to move it for 2 weeks now(((( I Send it the letter 'd', but...

Re: can id´s 4 Gear Selector
Thank you Tom. Are you seeing that for both the 12 and 22 way connectors, you only need 5 connections: - GND - 12V+ main feed - 12V+ Ign - CAN H - CAN L Or are there signals required on other pins also (just looking at LRBen's post re needing 12V on pin 10 of the 12 way connector also and wondeirng ...

Re: GS450H Discussion
Wondering if anyone is running Catphish's GS450H_v8 code in their setup? Does the wifi module need to be programmed specifically to work with this version? Or would a wifi module from something like the Zombieverter already be set up for it's OI web interface?

Re: Main contactor not closing
My HV test pack is around 86V I also tested the main contactor circuit with a small automotive relay. But that relay didn’t close either. Is Invudc showing close to your 86V in the web interface? Not sure what to suggest after that, the fact the small auto relay also fails to close might well flag ...

Re: Main contactor not closing
First thought would be settings in the web interface, especially udclim, udcmin, and udcsw. Possibly not related from your description and you've probably already seen this post but sharing a link I had discussing a HV+ contactor case I have https://openinverter.org/forum/viewtopic.php?p=50338#p5033...

Re: can id´s 4 Gear Selector
I got mine to lower! I got the pinout wrong. pin 4 does nothing. pin 10 needs 12v, then when you disconnect ignition it will lower. It does need canbus to raise though, but doesn't lower via canbus messages. Nice one, I'll check this out. I have the 22 pin connector on mine, so I expect one of the ...

Re: can id´s 4 Gear Selector
On mine once I connect the ignition I get messages on the canbus and the backlight. ID 0x312 at about 20ms intervals. Canbus log attached. Sending the messages to raise and lower the knob seems to have no effect, similar with playing back logs from Tom. But possibly due not having whatever pin 4 is...

Looking forward to this build Have been watching Synchro Gearboxes' doing an older LR conversion based on the Leaf too and see they seem to do some nice stuff for the LT230 also, even the divorced setup.

Re: Zombieverter or Lexus GS450h VCU that is the question.
I now consider trying to solve these myself but from experience the Zombie software is (for me) difficult to understand and debug. And with so few others using or developing it, there isn't a "critical mass" to help make progress when stuck. So I'm asking honestly if falling back to the a...
