If you don’t mind me being an efficiency bore again, what sorta winter efficiency is it giving on the motorway?

Re: E46 Touring Project Engine Delete
I've removed it and the subframe does seem to line up better, looks pretty hard to tap into the oil ports on the DU as they're an odd shape, but it does seem to fit alright in the normal position with a little bit more cutting of the subframe

Re: E46 Touring Project Engine Delete
I’ve removed some of the gubbins from the subframe and it fits much nicer now. Almost a perfect fit! Does need to come down and forward a bit, so may have to cut out the bottom of the subframe, and the coolant ports seem to get in the way but apart from that seems pretty good. If anyone knows anythi...

Re: Hyundai/Kia Batteries
I asked EV-Breakers for some info on the pack and they came back with this
450kg pack
10 modules
4x ‘short modules’ 430 x 370 x 300mm - 27 cells
6x ‘long modules’ 480 x 370 x300mm - 30 cells
Seems a bit heavy for a 64kwh (net) pack but good value per kWh

Does anyone have any info on the modules (i.e dimensions, weight, BMS) from the Kona EV e-niro as they have started to crop up at under £100/kWh so could be a good option
Cant seem to find much about them online yet

Sending pallets from Mainland UK to N.Ireland
Anyone have any experience sending pallets from England to Ireland (or the other way around). I have someone interested in my GS450H components and they are based in Northern Ireland. Stuff that size obviously needs to go on a pallet Any advice / websites / services you recommend, would be appreciated

I imagine it's a lot easier to convince the DVLA when your a firm doing many conversions a month vs a random 17yr old converting the car in your dads garage.. hope I'm wrong.

Don't want to spoil your For Sale thread, but could I ask why you're thinking of changing direction on this? E46-GS450h is my medium term plan but not sure if I'm able to take this yet. Good to know if there are specific reasons you have for a different solution.. Mainly due to my wants, i want to ...

GS450H Gearbox (w/ oil pump) and VCU
Thinking of changing my project to a Tesla setup so considering selling my GS450H Gearbox, with oil pump, and GS450H VCU Kit together Works as is, so is wired up and essentially ‘plug and play’ with a little more wiring to fit your build. Running the V3 Easy to use software Oil pump bearings brand n...

Re: BMW i3 CCS/charge port controller
Very nice developments. Do you already know how the maximum charge current is defined in de LIM? Will this be fixed to the 50kW i3 speed or can we expect faster CCS charging speeds? 50kW seems a bit slow for today's standards. Anyway still super interesting! I asked this on Patreon and Damien said ...

Re: E46 Touring Project Engine Delete
After many failed attempts due to my small brain not figuring out how to wire the connectors properly, i managed to get it to spin the wheels on 2x 12v batteries, then the next day i hooked up 1 tesla module and drove it around and tested it a bit, all seems to be good so far! Very happy about that ...
