Have a chat with Dima who was involved in the build. The photos I have don't show very much detail :(

Re: Citroen C8 with Tesla stuff

Have you open and tested if it can be used backwards by just swapping the inlet and outlet. Have a chat with Chris at Zero EV UK ( here ) who've done a lot of work on Tesla drive units for performance applications. I still also have to limit the power due to regulations in the swedish vehicle contr...

Re: Citroen C8 with Tesla stuff

I'd recommend using the Tesla small drive unit... the large drive will be very overpowered, big and heavy.

If you have any doubts about the small drive unit performance have a chat with Dima and Damien and watch this :)

Re: Your opinion on openinverter funding

I don't think it's worth your time documenting these expenses because most people only care about the end result (working hardware, software, and support). My suggestion is use external advertising on this site and give members the option of turning off adds by paying a monthly subscription.

I'll start with a link to a 30 page thread on the ...

Re: ICE Breaker - 1967 VW Splitscreen Bus with Tesla Drivetrain/Battery

I might have missed it in the historical thread but are you using that Type 2 DC fast charge port? Today we are using the Type 2 AC pins for 22kW three phase. Our long term goal is to use the Type 2 DC pins and I'm making some progress on finding a vendor for the HomePlug Green PHY that's required....
