Re: Tesla Model 3 Battery Cell Failure - Experience Reqd!
i can think of 2 mechanical possibilities: - residue flux from solder cell taps/ left over solder blobs - broken/ interfered cell fuses on the bottom of the battery module. (as you know) these m3 modules are very exposed on the bottom and moving them around is challenging without damaging any of the...

hmm.
i think extra function be a separate menu would clean things up. its very nice having a board that runs the core ev system. no extra boxes. but to simplify things, i agree.

Re: [DRIVING] leaf powered 1983 Subaru BRAT (dual outlander WIP)
I’m currently trying to eyeball my front diff (it’s rear engined) to see if I can bolt one of the outlander motors in there. I think I’ll definitely lose some clearance. The Outlander du sits at an angle and the diff hangs down, so should be able to maintain your ground clearance! Also have the dri...

Also, if you want any help with integrating existing systems (dashboard etc) I'd be more than willing to help. When I get to my conversion I was planning on retaining the dashboard and shifter (it's an automatic). Everything would appear original, the only real difference being I was thinking of ha...

Re: Shortening or modifying CV axles and how to do it?
You guys are mixing up terminology and it’s making it really confusing. Axle, joint, flange, shaft, doj, etc. Zieg what exactly are you trying to do? Sounds like you are using the Nissan leaf knuckles but need longer axles? My stub shaft adapters are for flange based cv joints, ie where the cv joint...

Re: Shortening or modifying CV axles and how to do it?
I just made stub shaft adapters for the leaf and outlander gearbox, so any German style cv joint can bolt up (90mm, 100mm, 108mm)
In which you can buy a large variety of different axle shaft lengths for.

Looks like you were possibly going to make motor mounts to sell? Is that the case? Can I be your first customer?
