Re: ZombieVerter VCU Support
Which drive are you talking about? The GS450H for example has a mechanical lever to move for park position. I think you could write code to use pin 50 "GP 12V input" to select neutral, change the forward and reverse commands to be latching direction, and add a control from Analog 1 in. to...

The pwm for oil pump already worked for me , the inverter power relay doenst though. In other news that throttle mod listed above seems to work. Just playing with ramp settings now that car is moving. Streber or et0 are you able to roll my change into your pull or will I do a seperate one? Can you ...

Re: ZombieVerter VCU Support
Update fiddled with the throttle mapping and its now spinning. Need to do some fine tuning so it works and is easily adaptable to include regen properly later one. The one you need to look at is is in src folder, gs450h.cpp. The code is originally this :void GS450HClass::setTorqueTarget(int16_t torq...

Re: ZombieVerter VCU Support
Update from talking with streber about this he thinks the issue comes from how potnom range is -100 to +100 and the Lexus 450h code looks for the torque request from 0-3500 excluding regen. So sounds like a simple scaling issue. Have to look further into this.

Latest update is same flashing light using my compile of strebers modified code above. I don't know is this down to how I complied it.
@streber could you share your .bin or .hex file so I can compare to see where it differs from mine.

From my experience with a Kia Niro phev , looking into the manual after 4 starts warning light will reset and dtc will remain as inactive. Also car scanner app seems to work, so might help.Would one of the loop dc current multimeter do and you just put it around charge port dc cabling.

Re: ZombieVerter VCU Support
Hi Dadlowe, I managed to do it with the help of my son-in-law, he is a professional programmer. What he told me to use was Visual Studio Code, without being able to show the menus etc it will not be easy to explain, especially by some first timer like me :-) I can run a 'make' that creates a .bin f...

Re: ZombieVerter VCU Support
Are MG1/2 temp supposed to work out of the box or do I need to replace the bias resistor? I don't think they do unless I did something wrong as mine read 6400deg c at 9 deg c. I patched mine to limit the readings to the min and max set by the sensor so it at least stops throwing errors or derating:...

Re: ZombieVerter VCU Support
As far as I know it has even used with the 80kw and 110kw versions so far , but the 160 share the same can besides the higher torque request so I would imagine its easy to implement as only a small change required to scaling
