Re: 1940 Chevrolet with Tesla Motor
If anyone knows how to add more hours to the day, please let me know. Take off any clock from garage that shows you how much the time is. Leave phone inside house. Then you do not know how late your nightshift is. The downside is when the mailman comes in the morning and you are still in the garage...

Re: International Fast Charging (hello to all Swedish members)
That's not too bad at all.
Considering it was holiday season after all.
But if it is in middle of nowhere at night, then it might not be so fun..

Re: Golf 2 with Prius Gen 3 Motor and Inverter
Very nice.
BTW, are those ptc heaters like from a standard car inside additional warmer+fan with 230v? Those kind we use in winter in Finland and they are pretty cheap with even 2 stages power button.

Re: E Golf Battery pack
I actually scanned the bottom of the modules and made paper modules. So this is PAD design then? Assume the Leftmost module will have the BMS CAN wiring. This is 4 types of rectangular packs in picture you can make with the slaves wired as per the original pinouts and BMS wiring. So a box like this ...

That is the solution that should be on ICE cars too. No go if charge port/fuel door open.

Re: Mitsubishi outlander charger and DC:DC
I hope it is not build so stupid that it just converts HVBAT to 12V in ficed ratio, because then it would not charge the 12V battery properly in Outlander when HVBAT voltage (SOC) is low. As previus posts have different pin suggestions what to connect where, is there a simple one page verified diagr...

Re: BMW i3 CCS/charge port controller
Yeah I've heard of that. PlugCharge I think its called. Thing is we never get to TCP comms on Ionity for it to even look for data like that. Here are the exact steps in the sequence. 1)open cp door 2)plug in. At this point car wakes, 5% not ready pilot is detected. 3)Authenticate with app or rfid t...

Re: BMW i3 CCS/charge port controller
Thanks to a very kind gentleman we now have a bunch of logs from a 2019 i3s 120Ah on the repo. Logs taken : Startup, mid point and shutdown of Ionity and Efacac CCS stations. Also logged an AC charge and vehicle startup. At the owner's request I have removed messages 0x380 (VIN) and 0x330 (Odometer...

Slightly off topic, but could I use a LIM with my Leaf VCU?Jack Bauer wrote: ↑Mon Jun 28, 2021 2:46 pm General SOC calculation and charge remaining timers for CCS now added to the ACDC_Lim branch.
I know it needs some rework to run, but why not?

I actually like your solution of hacking and using the OG copper wiring. May do "similar but different"

I have a "milkcrate dolly" that I use to move around my motors and other heavy stuff around, i got it because it had small dent and milkcrate or whatever didn't fit there anymore so it was junk to them, i just bent it back close enough and works fine for this type of stuff. Ask local groce...

I have traced the BMC wiring and plugged in 5V to VW battery packs CAR side connector to see what happens.
