It seams this is the support thread for Leaf VCU as well as the Inverter Board. is this a correct assumption?

I guess why not! I just figured the industry components kind of standardized at 96s so that made integration easiest. Certainly as far as some BMSs and chargers go. Good luck!

I wish these also provided cell voltages though. Balancing is great, but we need BMSs that will tell us things!

I was thinking the same thing. putting 6 of these on a 96S pack could be interesting but of course would not balance between those 16 sets. overlapping could solve that. hmmmm
