Re: interface problem tesla sdu with esp32 canlite module

what I have done: I downloaded the ZIP file from GitHub and unpacked it into a folder. I have VSC and the platformio extension installed. In platformio.ini I changed the 3 lines and entered the correct IP address. Then I opened a new terminal window and changed to the unpacked directory and entered ...

Re: interface problem tesla sdu with esp32 canlite module

I tried to install the latest software, but now it doesn't work anymore. The connection works, but I get the following message. CAN.png I downloaded the ZIP file from here and changed the 3 lines in the .ini. https://github.com/jsphuebner/esp32-web-interface/tree/can-backend platformio ran through a...

I think using 12V is a good idea. According to the Design_Guide_Combined_Charging_System, the CP line always has 12V / 1k at the beginning.

Re: Develop a QCA7000 board?

I assumed there will be a momentary-contact switch near the charge inlet, to do user-input things such as: That's pretty much what I've described here. I also prefer to keep the 330Ohm at 5V because of compatibility. The only thing that bothers me is that someone else can stop my charging. This cou...

Can't you just take a MAC address from an old PC network card lying around? That would be genuine and unique.

Re: Develop a QCA7000 board?

I have left out the 2k7 (3k) resistor for now, as it is not there at BMW either. If necessary, I solder a THT resistor to the underside of the board at the connector between pin A10 and A12

I have the old foccci. If only the resistor needs to be replaced, I would simply resolder it.

Re: Develop a QCA7000 board?

I can do it however I want. BMW outputs cable and EVSE limit in whole amperes and a few other things so that the AC charger knows what to do. I have attached the corresponding frame from the LIM. Re: Develop a QCA7000 board?

I only use one plug. To manage the AC charging I need a CAN output from clara with the EVSE and cable current carrying capacity. I would return the charging status via CAN so that clara can switch the 1k3 resistor and the lock and the LEDs display something meaningful.

Re: EMC proof of the zombieverter

Since I am working towards the TÜV, I have done some further research. Directive 72/245/EEC was amended in 1995 by Directive 95/54/EC. This means that for vehicles before 1995, radio interference suppression only has to be proven for engines with spark ignition, after that for all engines. hope goog...

Re: Develop a QCA7000 board?

I took another look at the LIM. According to the circuit diagram, PP is connected to pin 2 (A250-B2) in the CCS2 version. No resistor is shown in the charging plug. CCS1 has an additional jumper from pin 2 to pin 6. This pin 6 is connected to GND (PE) in the LIM via 2k7. This means: In EU no 2k7 to ...

Re: Develop a QCA7000 board?

I took a look at the input circuit of the LIM. PP goes into an R330 and a 47k resistor. The other side of the 47k goes directly into the microcontroller. The second side of the R330 goes into an unknown component with 6 pins. Two of the pins are bridged. The remaining 3 are connected to 5V, GND and ...

Re: Develop a QCA7000 board?

For AC charging, there is a resistance between both plugs between PE and PP, e.g. 220 ohms for 32A current carrying capacity. The PP of the charging station is not connected to the PP of the car. The resistance on the car side is read from the car. How this is done may vary from control unit to cont...

Re: Omit Wifi module on inverter boards and lower price?

I like the new version because I can access all OI devices with a single, stable network connection. The adapter is normally inside the car
next to the notebook. I also have a 20m CAN bus extension cable that I can use to easily get from the garage to the office.

Your car seems to have electrical instruments except for the RPM and speedometer. If you keep the original gearbox, the speedometer will continue to work. The tachome...
