Usually there are very small numbers in the socket as well.

Re: BMW hybrid battery module temperature sensor
This one? https://www.hubauer-shop.de/en/temperat ... 47873.html
That's the only temperature sensor that's listed for the HV batteries in the parts catalogue.

Re: What happened to the Tesla Model S/X Charger Wiki Page
I added a Redirect to GEN2 to mitigate the situation of potentially broken links. I'm currently (re-)structuring the Wiki and introducing categories to make pages like the "Tesla Model S/X Charger" page redundant. There were/are a lot of pages like this and most of them were incomplete and...

Re: What happened to the Tesla Model S/X Charger Wiki Page
The pages are not gone, just the overview page because it was basically empty and redundant by the Categories. I might have underestimated that there are already links present. Sorry for the inconvenience. https://openinverter.org/wiki/Tesla_Model_S/X_GEN2_Charger https://openinverter.org/wiki/Tesla...

Re: EV car conversion hardware
I can't recommend using those. This is what they looked like on my friend's Volvo V70 after just two years. It was used to connect a new pig tail for the temperature sensor. It is not in a very hot place and still the tubing became brittle. The flux inside started to corrode the wires and the solder...

Re: E90 EPS (Active Steering Rack integration)
Even though this might not be relevant anymore since the thread is nearly one year old, I think I can explain how to make the EPS happy. It's explained in the BMW WDS Wiring Diagram System: The conditions to enable the EPS are: - Ignition on - DME/DDE (Digital Motor Electronics/Digital Diesel Electr...

Re: 1965 Ford Mustang
I just dug through the BMW Wiring Diagram System and the nominal voltage ranges are actually specified. I added it to the wiki too. If anyone is looking for it: it's only in the DDE5, DDE6, ... sections. The pedals for gasoline and diesel engines are the same though, so the information applies for b...

Re: 1965 Ford Mustang
This might be a little late, but I gathered some information from the BMW Schematics and publicly available parts catalogues about the throttle pedals in the E46 and E60/E61: https://openinverter.org/wiki/BMW_Electronic_Throttle_Pedal It would be nice to have precise measurements of the output volta...

Re: Compiling Information For Wiki - Please Contribute
Adding a Category to a page is really simple. You add a Category tag to the bottom of the page like this: [[Category:Inverter]] I just didn't get around to do all pages yet. There is no limit on how many categories can be added to a page, but for the first step I did OEM, the manufacturer (in this c...

Re: Compiling Information For Wiki - Please Contribute
In the last days I started adding (much needed!) categories to the Wiki pages. There is still a lot of work to do. Also there's a lot of information still spread though out forum threads which needs to be condensed into the wiki articles. I've observed that we might have to establish a standard form...

Re: Electric Power Steering pump from Mini
I just looked up the Datasheets from Rowe for Dexron IIIG and IIIH and their ZH-M hydraulic liquid and the dynamic viscosity of the ATF is about 50% higher. That might certainly increase the resistance for the pump and therefore the current drawn. Maybe there's a combination of your pump being fault...

Re: Electric Power Steering pump from Mini
What exactly was the "standard" power steering fluid you used? The Mini usually takes the green Pentosin CHF11S (or equivalent) and the TRW pump needs the same. I've read that people used ATF, but as there are maaaaany different ATFs with different viscosities, it's probably better to use ...

Re: VW A/C Compressor
Do you know if the different part numbers for the compressor have the same protocol and voltages? From what I've found now there are three part numbers with different suffixes. I could imagine that there are different versions for R134a and R1234yf. All of those are not made by Denso, even though th...

Re: STM32 woes
It seems like JLCPCB has added the STM32F103RBT6 again, even though it's now at around $21 and they only have 1 in stock.. I would not recommend using the Giga Device Clone. I've read more than one report of not all features working as they should or as expected. Automotive electronics usually deman...

Re: Toyota GT86 with Nissan Leaf Motor
Sachs definitely has clutches with 20x22-20N pattern: https://www.atp-autoteile.at/de/product ... ngsscheibe
Try calling Sachs or Sachs Performance directly. Maybe they can give you the center part of a clutch since that's all you need to fabricate the adaptor.

Re: Testing FOC for synchronous motor
I found this Application Note AN205344 from Cypress. They describe a motor controller with not one but three PI-Controllers for Speed Control. The other two probably go along, AN205403 explains how they do the angle and speed estimation. It's interesting to see that they are able to control the moto...

Re: Toyota Prius Gen 2 Inverter Controller
I bought my Prius Gen 2 inverter from the USA. It was cheaper to buy it there (including shipping!) than to buy it in Germany. Interestingly, I didn't even have to pay toll or taxes :D If you get an inverter, try to get as much of the surrounding cableing as you can. The plugs are sometimes hard to ...
