I've been using them for energy storage projects. They are 6S2P configuration, CATL cells, 2.74kWh, each with BMS PCB based on MAX17823B. Some of the latest batteries use the newer MAX17854.

Good choice of batteries, one advantage of these batteries is they have a build-in balancing circuit using the MAX17823B chip. This is then controlled by a Master board using a MAX17841B chip.
I got a board from Clanarn, but I'm not sure if he has any left, but the data sheet can be found here ...

The Samsung SDI BMU panel has the MAX17841 driver chip, while the Jaguar / Range Rover battery has the MAX17823B BMS chip. In principle, they can talk to each other - but of course the factory software is not suitable for this.

For the MAX17845, both the pinout and the basic protocol are the same as the MAX17823B, but the self-diagnostic is different.

These CATL modules are using a MAX17823B chip.
Data sheet is available for it seems to be a dedicated BMS chip.
Looking at the loom its wired in a daisy chain.

Has anyone interfaced to these before ?
Might just save me some work
