Joining the wires to just replace the brake switch brought the shifter back to drive and neutral.

Will try and find a brake switch and move on.
Will also replace the 12 volt battery ...

Latest update found two wires that were cut close to the bonnet handle. Fixed them temperate back on the dashboard.

Still doesn't start but i have yet to scan the car again

I forgot to ask a very important question. Would normal scanners like launch and autel work on this car ? Or the gateway causes issues? I disconnected the wiring harness from the door. Can't see any crushed or damaged cables
