I have checked eBay but haven't found CVs for less than 120 each. The HV cable is also $120-150. That's the point I was trying to make about retail

There is a crazy amount of gatekeeping for used parts.

I happen to have a Model S front drive unit and have been noodling a project with it. I read that it can only be run as slave but I see some comments here that imply that it can be run with the RDU board as a single motor.
