Re: Nissan Leaf 24kWh Pack
I'd be interested. But do you know if it's feasible to ship it to England with the new customs systems?

Re: CAN displays
From what I can tell that is an app that reads off an OBD port. It can display standard signals from a conventional powertrain as define by the OBD 2 standard.
I'm guessing most people are not making obd 2 compliant systems for their self builds.
Is no one using an after market CAN display?

CAN displays
I'm currently working with a grayhill CAN display. It's good but expensive. Got me wondering
What CAN displays are people using?
How have you found working with them?
How easy are they to set up?
How expensive?

Re: '69 Morris Minor conversion
Interested in your thread. I have a morris minor traveller I am going to convert. I originally bought a mitsubishi Outlander rear axle and inverter. I believe this is pretty much the same motor as the iMev. The minor only had about 30 kW originally, so the Mitsubishi motor should easily be able to m...

Re: L210 gearbox
Thanks a lot for this. Those tasks are probably quite doable. As the machined cover plate would be non structural I don't think it has to be machined out of metal. Could be machined or of composite. Or even perhaps 3d printed, so long as it isn't porous and is strong enough to be clamped to the casi...

Re: L210 gearbox
Sorry if this question has been asked before. I have gone through the threads but not seen this particular question. I am converting a Morris Minor. I have acquired an IS300H gearbox and inverter. Originally had only 30 bhp. So I don't need the combined power of MG1 and MG2. Looking at the box from ...

Re: Outlander rear motor and inverter
Jup thats the new project at work, will be using a VCU I am designing and coding. I'd be very interested to find out more about what you are doing on the vcu side. I used to do tcu and vcu as for a major car manufacturer. I'm now working on a project for myself but need to get hold of suitable hard...

Re: Outlander rear motor and inverter
The rear inverter is programmed with the vehicle vin and it is transmitted continually. The phev ecu will not drive the inverters if the vin from the rear inverter does not match so it is partly correct. Phil Hi, I'm following this thread with interest as I have a used rear motor and inverter that ...
