Re: 【Technical Inquiry】Looking for Methods to Capture EVCC Data from BYD New Energy Vehicles
I see two ways:
1. The cheap: capture the SPI traffic in the vehicle or charger, between the modem (QCA7000) and the host, using a Saleae logic analyzer (clone). I have a python script on my github to convert the saleae data into pcap, to view it with wireshark.
2. The expensive, universal, state ...

thank youTurk wrote: ↑Thu Jan 16, 2025 11:51 pm If anyone with a BYD is looking at this post as a solution to the Tesla Supercharger V3/V4 incompatibility issue. The issue is with the Resistor hanging off the PP pin to 5v. Communications on the CP line work correctly. Look for my post in the charging section for more details.

Re: BYD/Dropbeats CCS controller module
I had the chance to examine the CCS DC fast charging controller module from a BYD Atto 3 today, and thought I'd share some findings. This module is similar to the Hyundai one , as in it talks CAN messages on one side and negotiates the CCS2 PLC data link on the other side.
This module only has ...

Looking for EV Owners to Help Test Our DC Fast Chargers!
Hello everyone!
I'm currently focused on developing DC fast chargers and I'm conducting a round of compatibility testing.
I'd like to invite EV owners to help me test with real vehicles.
At the moment, I have DC chargers available with the following power ratings:
7kW (small DC charger)

Re: CCS Proximity Pilot vs GB/T Charging Confirmation
Thanks. It appears the GB/T DC interface uses two CC lines, one for the car and one for the charger.
1. In GB/T 27930 (DC), the CC signal is used:
6V indicates the plug is disconnected.
4V indicates the plug is connected.
2. In GB/T 18487 (AC), the PP or CP signal is used:
PP is for detecting ...

Re: Explore all possibilities of ISO15118, including V2G/PnC/hardware sniffer.
Hello!
I am working on a similar project. So far, what we could achieve is to join the AV network, but we cannot capture the TCP packets. Any ideas how to overcome this?
After successfully joining AV, you should transplant a TCP/IP protocol stack that supports IPV6 and then listen to SDP ...
