Re: Nissan Leaf motor EMC
Thanks, maybe fastest way will be to connect ground to phase shields, since my cables are already made like this. My fault was to don't connect them at beginning. I will try this and report. Inverter - motor - DCDC are already connected to GND with thick cable (removed from gas engine) at least 50 s...

Re: Nissan Leaf motor EMC
It could be true - I hear it into FM radio :) When my Leaf motor starts spinning I hear noise in speakers. The same situation is when regen is active. I don't hear any distrurbances when speed is constant - no matter hi or low. So - there are also mine EMF investigations. For now I don't know what t...

Later, when I will back to home I will send parameters from old and new firmware to comparision. It can be like this, that after upgrade some parameters are by default off? From another thread - my BMW 116 is officially approved and I have already green plates so thank You and all of guys for suppor...

Re: Inverter Firmware v4.87.R
Hello,
I would like report, that after upgrading from 4.76.R-foc to 4.87.R-foc with Leaf inverter I have no regen at all. The rest works for now good, smooth like previously, but maybe You know why it's like this?

Look if You have more than one temp sensor - in my car are 2 - one in engine and second on cold tube from cooler.
There isn't also any cooling fluid flow sensor, fluid pressure sensor etc.?

Arber, do You remember my situation with stm32 after failed uploading bin file? Thatguyoverthere - first try to connect with STM-32 Link utility to chip - if is possible to connect - he lives, but maybe something is corrupted. In my situation faster was to replace stm32 chip (was unable to establish...

Yes, thank You for info. I will also look at this board and then decide which take for final version. For now is only important, that this will work. I have to order one of those and try. First I have to compile somehow Johannes project and try to look at can bus. I will report then what is happen.

Hi, I have in my conversion 2 independent CAN buses: CAN#1: BMS - charger - DCDC CAN#2: BMW - inverter board For now I don't want to mix them to be sure, that I will be more sure to not block any traffic to safety equipment (maybe I'm wrong - what all You think?) Because of this I have to put some a...

Hello again, I had a little stress last weeks, because before visit of inspector to look at my conversion I had to prepare all of the documentation, schematics and then wait until he will look at this. And..., when I tried to charge battery to be prepared for some tests - I had no charging at all :)...

Hi, If I'm looking at this small car also I will put next 5c to Your garden ;) Don't get me wrong but for me it's really loss to get this almost antique to make EV. Re: Mainboard V3 FAQ
Ok, I solved this with small relay which is controlled by inverter supply, so if 12V is present at inverter power input, I have also enabled 12V to Pre/UDCSW high side. Second - like Johannes and Arber suggest, witch emergency button I cut only direction line, but contactorst stays on, it's more saf...

Hi,
Now, if my car is also driveable I will look for power consumption. I hope here in Poland will be similar like in Germany. Now I'm collecting all data for assembled parts, electrical measurings (insulation, grounding continuity, etc.) so wish me a luck and not so exact inspector
Regards.

Re: Peugeot 406 coupe Pininfarina with Leaf motor and Ampera inverter [FINISHED]
Hi,
This is what I had doubt also - to run DCDC with charger or not. My cooling pump starts with charger, because after 15minutes it's hot at 10A/300V. For now I leave DCDC off, but maybe will be better like You did - also charge 12V battery during normal charging.

Re: BMW E87 2006 with Leaf motor
I'm using also small relays to have bigger load possibility for contarctors coils. Yes, open collector outputs on v3 board+leaf inverter board without applying 12V to inverter. With no power both outputs are open to GND, so if I have 12V on second leg of coil, both are closed until I apply 12V to in...

Thanks Arber for reply. I have already one of EV200 at home, but first I tried to use "original" :) because I had two for + and - lines. Like You see, now left one so I will need to use this one. Main question is: why out_pre and out_dcsw are LOW without applying 12V to supply inverter. Th...

Hello again Today, when I almost finished waterproof cover for underbody battery, delayed start of inverter I tried to start motor like always and... strange because it welded both main relays! So, for normal driving my setup seems to be ok with air intake (motor cover). Question is, what will be when car stays at standby? Probably there will be necessary to put fan

Hah, I was thinking about the yellow light to take him out, but first maybe will be possible to give him what he needs. Johannes did bypass for all of signals in his Touran? I don't know if You saw how is mine DCDC under hood. Mine is transverse to the direction of travel, so possible water can't go directly to inlets. I will now let it like is, but according to Your cooling, maybe will be not necessary to put additional fans. Maybe car movement will be enough to cool i...

Re: BMW E87 2006 with Leaf motor
Exactly. I will do like this. Now I have a little more time, because I'm making cover for under-car-battery pack, so car is blocked for some days. Then I want to put all of under covers of car floor and go with air cooling of Ampera DCDC. In Your opinion should be enough air, which usually go to air...
