Fantastic work @Gregski

Re: Porsche Boxster 986 Tesla conversion [FINISHED]
Welcome to forum spiff.
I'm planning on also following suit on a 987 Boxster.
Currently just enjoying the car as it is though, with plans to get going on the EV conversion within the next year.

Re: Newb question on GS450H
You would have to trick the ICE ECU by feeding it fake values such as engine temp.
It's more for a software challenge than anything else.
I can't recall anyone having done this as yet.
Project Lexi was meant to be just this but it never got completed as far as I know (damn you Covid!).

Loving the Honda Logo on everything
Just curious why is the Honda bike Logo and not the Honda H which is the car company logo?

Re: Registering and changing tax class of an EV conversion in the UK
Yes, @zippy500, so basically what DVLA are saying is "Thank you for letting us know that the car is now fully electric, we have made a note of that but unfortunately, we can't change the taxation class (of post 2001 vehicles I assume). So you will have to continue paying road tax at the same ba...

As no one else has answered, I think the answer you are looking for is here :- I've checked with 4.87R already, nothing changed. resolver connection MRFG-GND, MSNG-SIN A, MCNG-COS A, MRF-EXC A, MSN-ENC A, MCS-ENC B Phases are connected straight 1,2,3 to 1,2,3. Re: Nissan Leaf Powered E46 Touring
I was once asked by a friend to look at "an oil leak" on one of these. I got it on my ramps started looking around and found it was leaking from many many locations. I did not fancy tackling the job of fixing all the leaks. That undertray cover thing looked totally black, when I jet spraye...

Oh dear, that must have been really frustrating but at least it was an OEM part that failed and nothing EV related.

Re: Freelander EV
I would start by first understanding the individual components needed to get the motor running. So essentially break things down into a list like this:- 12v Battery HV Battery Pack Pre-Charge Contactor and Resistor Negative Contactor Positive Contactor Leaf Inverter Open Source Logic Board 3 phase m...

I'd be inte...
