I want the opposite, I have 5 x chademo 50kw dbt chargers that are Chademo only. Maybe next winters project.
If anyone seriously wants to have a go at making the reverse of this they can have one of these dbt units.

Re: Renault Zoe BMS
OK so solved that somewhat. Thanks to paaa I used one of the can logs and found that it wakes up and starts sending data when I send 0x423 and then stops again after the log is turned off. Now to work out what everything means..

Re: Renault Zoe BMS
OK so I have the battery connected to a power supply, it pulls almost 300mA for a few seconds and then drops to 35uA. No data is transmitted on the canbus. Now I am hoping it wakes when it is sent some can data.

Re: Renault Zoe BMS
Did anyone ever get one of these BMS working from what I can see the BMS looks the same in the Kangoo. I just got a few Renault Kangoo EV batteries which are 36.4 kwh and any information would be useful. I did find this : https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/18woe2h8rAPiIrajOFWiqMwfQRpsZ1lIqdOhpm9...

Thanks again for the info, because of the conformal coating on the chips it is almost impossible to read the text so you helped alot.

Re: Ranger rover 14.7kwh pack bms
I am not sure if the bus to the modules is can bus, the lines from the controller seem to be isolated using some transformers. You can see them on the bottom left of the square pcb photo. There is also no can transceiver chip on the individual bms boards that I can see. I will have to get a scope ou...

Whereswally606 the Renault charger uses the motor inverter and motor as part of the charger so it's not practical or compact.

There is a product just about to be released to control the none hybrid 8hp bmw gearboxes using the original tcu using can and bypassing the immo. No plans to cover the hybrid version as yet but he might if there is enough interest. https://www.canformance.net/shop/

Re: Outlander rear motor and inverter
Seems to behave pretty well using a full throttle map I mocked up. I hope to be testing it under load in the civic this week. I just know I will be wishing I fitted the outlander front transmission with both motors when I drive it..

Re: Outlander rear motor and inverter
The rear inverter is programmed with the vehicle vin and it is transmitted continually. The phev ecu will not drive the inverters if the vin from the rear inverter does not match so it is partly correct.

Re: Outlander rear motor and inverter
I have a motor, inverter, charger and battery from an outlander installed in a Honda civic. The charger and motor only need 4 can commands between them in total to work. I have shared the information with a couple of people on here already. But I will be in a position to report actually driving a ca...

Re: Mitsubishi outlander charger and DC:DC
Oh and yes it charges to 420v You should be able to stop and start the charge by sending 0 current then it will start again no problem As you have probably noticed the 370v set in 0x286 has no effect that I can find whatever. In fact if you send 1v it will still charge, however if you set those byte...

Re: Mitsubishi outlander charger and DC:DC
Yes I got the inverters and charger working a few months ago, pretty simple set of can bus commands. I am building an ep3 civic type r with an outlander rear motor mounted in the front using the outlander inverter, charger and batteries. I know its a serious power downgrade but I had the car already...

If you take the cover off it says P N on the pcb next to the connections.
The connection nearest the edge of the case is P.

I already have an outlander motor and inverter mounted in a ep3 civic type r just for testing purposes. Hopefully I will be able to drive it by this time next week.

Re: Mitsubishi outlander charger and DC:DC
You only need to send 0x285 and 0x286 0x285 alone will connect the evse but won't charge until you send 0x286 0x286 byte 2 sets the charge current, there is a voltage setting on byte 0 and 1 but that is completely ignored I am working with someone at the moment to provide a solution to make all the ...

The charger fully controls the charge rate from a single byte in a can command but the maximum is overridden by the pilot signal pwm setting.

Re: Mitsubishi outlander charger and DC:DC
I have had it working on the bench with a very rough setup, I am making a controller to do it properly and will release the information once I am not sending people on a road to nowhere as there is also some of the electrical connections to the charger that need handling.
