I have manufactured steel pressure end-plates for custom building a battery pack based on (any count of) Nissan Leaf modules.
These plates are laser cut and predrilled made of 2mm Magnelis steel and are easy to assemble in any configuration.

Here i convinced EVSE to open and supply AC at 16A. I wired one 2K7 resistor and additional switch and 1K3 resistor to PE that brings total CP resistance to some 880R. I did that inside the handle.
Charger then started CAN telegram from PP present signal which pulled some input pin on my CAN uC ...

Yes the NLG5 does support it,
There is a CP (ControlPilot) input connection available to be direclty connected to the EVSE.
You have to trigger the signal though by means of a CANbus message.
I never got it working properly in 'stand-alone' mode (without CANbus) but with it works fine.

First batch of BMS12v3 arrived from JLCPCB today.
The missing parts should arrive this week also so they can be completed and tested/programmed next week.
