Torque app and Canbus
Hi! Im trying to make a working gauge cluster via obd2 and the app torque. It has a function for "HPEV Motor RPM" but that doesnt give me any read out. I feel kind of lost in the CAN-jungle, what do I need to do in the inverter to get orion bms to read the RPM? The CAN speeds are set to th...

Emergency Stop Wiring
Hello Everyone! I have been searching around but cant find anything so I will ask. As per law here in Sweden you have to have a emergency stop button inside of the car. As I know you can blow the inverter if pulling the contactors while driving. So that is a big "NO". My other thought was ...

Re: One pedal driving.
You can change the regen settings to work all the way down to stationary, it may or may not work smoothly, but worth a try. You should also experiment with the hill hold function, but I haven't been able to make it work myself. A few improvements probably need to be made to openinverter's low speed...

Re: One pedal driving.
Doh! You need to have a pedal range without torque near 0 so motor would not lock your wheels before stopping. Very dangerous in winter. I use a single pedal throttle even though i use a regen pot. This regen pot i can actively set but it remains on that setting. When i release throttle motor will ...

One pedal driving.
Hi! Is it anyone that has played with regen and achived one pedal driving? I would like it to work but when I tried I couldnt get the regen to work under like 5kmh. Under that the car was free rolling, I would like to have it so the car actually stops and can even hold the car at stand still on a sm...

Re: Tesla Large Drive Unit Support Thread
Stupid question maybe, but whats the difference between pin 11 "Systems Ground (Chassis)" and pin 22 "Systems Ground"
Can I run both to chassies, or should pin 11 go to chassis and pin 22 to minus on 12v battery?
Best regards!

Re: Tesla Large Drive Unit Support Thread
Hi! Tried to search here but didnt find anything, I may be stupid but rather one question to much than on to little. Pin 11 Says "System Ground (Chassis)" Pin 22 Says "System Ground" Is there any difference to these? I feel like both should be to the chassi of the car? Or should ...

Tesla Large Drive Unit Max Voltage
Hey Guys!
Was searching the threads here and couldnt find a answer to my question. Does anyone know if it it safe to run 108S on a Tesla large drive unit?
And can the evbmw controller board handle it?
Best regards!

Re: Large drive unit board, charger board and orion BMS
aah, I see. But if I only aim for Quick charge on open charging stations? Does that work? If you wish to use the Orion BMS then you'll need to ask them. However, a much better way forward IMO is to use the SimpBMS ( here ) which will eventually support the open CHAdeMO ( here ) and open CCS ( here ...
