Re: STANDARD WINDOWS IDE FOR STM32

did you modify the makefile itself? Not much to changed but you need to be aware of few aspects. First of all, for debugging you need .elf file, in Makefile from Johannes based projects it is disguised, basically it is generated but with no extension. This is why in launch.json file I have: "e...

I think we should go this way if we want all an easy live... I am happy with Windows, sure sometimes things are little more difficult being in minority. VM is an option for sure but I like to work in native OS specially dealing with external hardware connected to VM. Sure there is virtual USB, seri...

Re: Tesla Charger Support Thread

Do you have CAN logs? Of the internal Canbus? It's the easiest way in telling at which side of the river you are.ut No, I did not have a chance to capture logs yet. If I do, which messages should I be paying attention to? I admit I did not study Tesla Charger messages but my understanding is that t...

Re: Lexus GS450H VCU Support Thread

Is there a minimum voltage you would recommend to use in testing? I have access to plenty of 12v batteries I can wire in series, have a circuit breaker I can use also. How would I check the capacitor? Thank you for your help. I am pretty sure you can spin motors with 24V although lowest I have trie...

Re: Lexus GS450H VCU Support Thread

Thanks for the quick reply, but I'm referring to the high voltage connections. I tried 24V from two 12v in series, just trying to get the motors to spin for the first time, the clips tried to weld themselves to the input, so I went down to a small 12v motorcycle battery to see what would happen, an...

Re: Lexus GS450H VCU Support Thread

Should there be any draw when first hooking up "HV" power to the inverter? It seems to be pulling about 60 amps off a small 12V battery, even after disconnecting the VCU and transmission cables. Certainly you should not see this kind of current, under 2A is more appropriate. I doubt inter...

Folks, trying to get GEN2 charger to work but it seems to be broken or perhaps not compatible/supported. It is model 1014963-00-C from vehicle and not from supercharger. Description of the issue: https://openinverter.org/forum/viewtopic.php?p=29667#p29667 Did anyone get this model/revision (1014963-...

Right, I remember he said "much under 200V".
Lowest I tested was at 185V for few seconds and 3A current limit. No pop, no smoke, no charge.

What is your revision?

Of course, locking down input shaft engages another planetary gear set. It adds just enough extra load to bug down your 4A power supply.

I remember during bench testing my setup I could spin motors at decent RPMs under 5-7A@80V (no load of course). Definitely something is wrong with your setup. Sounds good. I could add the necessary project file to github, provided it's not tons of files. Then there is more freedom of choice in dev tools. Johannes, there is not to many file at all. I tried ~1s ramp up while helpful it did not make it smooth enough. I feel longer ramp would make shifting too long to be useable.
