Re: Zombieverter looses WiFi connection when trying to update

The latest web ui hides SWD update as it only works with additional connections. I was never sure but will the latest web UI work on zombie? UART may fail but in that case you can power cycle and retry I did try power cycling several times but the behaviour was the same, it says upload complete, bu...

hahahahahaha. Thats an entry level POS. its is priced accordingly 519 gbp you will struggle hard. Well it's better than nothing and will likely do the job for what I need. It's also probably worth noting that entry level stuff is absolutely nothing to be ashamed of or shunned by those who have acce...

Zombieverter looses WiFi connection when trying to update

A friend asked me to check their zombieverter with my bench setup, all checked and fine but it is still on version 2.04. when I try to update it by swd UART update, the binary file uploads but the connection drops and it doesn't complete the update.

Splined sleeve? For locking the input shaft? That's just a cut down clutch disc. Not sure on the water pump though, I suspect people just use whatever is available to them and cheap.

But I think it's a good start. We have established that they still power on and can communicate with ODIS and a Mongoose adaptor. We know they are not standard VAG. I'll keep trying to get some contact from Street Scooter and see how open they are to sharing some information. Just wondering if Stre...

Re: Switched ADC BMS

The max voltage per board is about 70V so I don't think that is any constraint. I used some sort of Molex connector. Couldn't really find that at JLC but there should be some sort 0.1 inch available. I don't recommend wire-to-board because you don't want 17 live wires dangling about when disconnect...

Re: Switched ADC BMS

Hey Johu, any recommendations on a suitable wire-to-board connector for the 17pincell tap connection? I've looked on JLCPCB and LCSC but neither seem to have something suitable to my inexperienced eyes. what is the max voltage rating required? do they need to be 400V rated or not? failing a wire-to-...

Re: [ WIP ]Bmw e39 + GS450h

Red to W, white to V black to U.

Do you have the controller wired correctly also?

1 blue
2 green
3 yellow
4 red
5 black

Then the big connector on the controller needs the black PWM wire to the zombie and 12V with the controller body being grounded.

I might be wrong here but I think the prams database is a local thing to you rather than on a server elsewhere. If it's not working, it will be something local to your setup.
I'm wrong.

Re: Nissan Leaf BMS

A question, will the BMS report voltage for just 1 cell for testing purposes? It would be nice to have it setup spitting out CAN and then connect cells one by one and see the voltages show up on leaf spy.

Re: Nissan Leaf BMS

The BMS cannot limit anything, it only measures voltage and current and it will balance the cells 24/7 as long as it receives +12V on pin 5 (BAT) of the round connector, which is wired to pin 12 of the LB11 connector. Also, all 96 pairs of cells need to be plugged in obviously. The BMS will only co...

Ok so this is a great start for wiring things up, although interestingly my LS11 connector has an extra wire that's not shown on this diagram on pin 11.
