Re: LDU Tune Issue - WOT Mystery
It must be seen together with fconst. fconst must be a good deal higher than fweak to make physical sense. It's the frequency at which fslipconstmax is applied at WOT Yeah, I had it set to up to 800hz even. But I think in my case, the problem seems to be voltage sag. With WOT voltage might drop dow...

Re: Prius Gen 2 EPAS - Electric Power Assist Steering
I'm struggling with lack of return to center with my Citroen C2 EPAS. I have it working (in non-failsafe mode) with RPM and Speed info sent via can bus. Speed info is coming from another bus and sending it forward to EPAS ecu, and it works well, except return to center. Car has a lot of caster, so t...

Re: DESAT error
Yeah, I read that after more thoroughly after changing the perfectly good condition seal to new leaking one
What speedi-sleeve are you using? I is there specific dimensions, product code or so?
What's wrong with the Aliexpress seal? I didn't see bad things reported about that.

Just noticed that I should have used Speedi Sleeve with that seal.. I didn’t, and it leaked. Now bought the one that was recommended from AliExpress. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/3294292 ... 4itemAdapt

Re: DESAT error
Ok, DESAT error is gone after drying the board. But as usual, once we got plugged that leak we found another. I bought preemptively new seal for rotor/stator side, as I noticed the thread about it starting to leak. We changed that when swapped the inverter .. and now, it seems that the biggest leak ...

Re: DESAT error, how to fix?
So, inverter is out again. So the square O-rings leak .. spraying water all over the inverter and OI board. That must have caused the DESAT error. So need to dry everything now, and hope nothing got broken with that water. Now the problem is, where to source those O-rings? Saw one guy getting these ...

Thanks. I will do that.
Good thing here is that probably the inverter is ok this time, now it’s just the board

Re: DESAT error, how to fix?
Thanks for confirming. I tried to search the forums and google, but I got zero hits with Tesla motors and Desat, mainly Leaf stuff. So there must be water currently on board so that desat gets connected to ground. Would you have a diagram that shows the desat connections on board, so I could check t...

DESAT error
I seem to have strike of bad luck now. First the inverter blew due bad BMS setup, got second inverter and that leaked coolant to inverter side and caused temp sensor first showing 0c (because wet connector) after fixing that I get DESAT error and car won't move. Weird thing was, that after putting t...

Re: tmphs 0c on LDU
So, motor out .. inverter cover open, and there is a lot of coolant in the inverter housing. After removing inverter and tracing the leak, we found out that it's the inverter heat sink plate bolts that leak! Two of them quite badly, rest 4 also .. but not that bad. I checked my burned LDU, and it al...

Re: tmphs 0c on LDU
I hope it's just connector that has got disconnected from the board. I think it's the white cables either from top left or bottom right. Other is probably heatsink (tmphs) and other is motor (tmpm).

tmphs 0c on LDU
All the sudden the tmphs started showing 0c. Everything works, but something is not right now.
Where is this sensor, and how to check? Can that sensor get disconnected? Fixed?

Re: Tesla LDU Controller Stops Working with Aggressive Throttle
I seem to have it -2500 too with my Sport unit. Have got overcurrent error few times, but only once when accelerating. And that time, the rear suspension started to bounce (wrong damper settings) so I think it caused a current spike and tripped overcurrent. 3-4 times I have had weird shutdowns (prob...

Re: LDU Tune Issue - WOT Mystery
In my Sport LDU setup (240V-300V pack), when using fslipconstmax of 9 it makes the motor shake / vibrate. Only when having it the same as fmax it seems to be fine, but I feel like I'm missing some power that that setting could bring. It even shakes when set to 5 or even 4 a bit. I don't understand h...

Re: Can't get any regen with LDU, help! [SOLVED]
Yeah, I have new motor on a way. But as I have LSD swapped to the broken one, I was thinking if it would be easiest to just swap the inverter side completely? Anyone done that? I've been searching that from youtube for hours, but only video I saw was some youtuber loosening the bolts inside and then...

Re: Can't get any regen with LDU, help! [SOLVED]
Yeah, I had contactor control set correctly, dcswon (tripmode = 1) after reading some horror stories, but what I didn't realize, was that BMS had default setting of 250A for charge limit. And when that hit, BMS opened main contactors. I verified with multimeter diode mode, it showed something like 0...

Re: Sending Custom CAN messages from SDU openinverter board
You can send direction as a can message, but not with custom data. Only the number (probably like 0, 1, 2) with gain factor, eg. multiplied by 100. It will also be sent constantly. I didn't see the frequency from wiki, but it's like 50 times per second or so. So not really something you want probably.

Re: Accelerator pedal dead zone
Some tweaks to regen calculation that I did for my branch of stm32-sine. Added check for rpm, so when rpm is zero and you don't press the pedal, regenZone resets (regentravel disabled). Also added example output how potnom gets ramped with throtramp = 5. And usually it's always ramped, just added ex...

Got it flashed! Thanks for your help.
While it was open, also tried to make a stm32-sine build using Debian running on Windows WSL. Got that uploaded via web-interface and that worked too. So all good now!
