How does one go about learning how to control CAN items? I'd love to learn how to control my Gen1 or Gen1 leaf chargers for an upcoming upgrade.

This looks super clean. Is the intent to keep this CAN based for commands or will this have analog inputs for throttle/brake/direction?

Thanks. I got this Gen1 inverter as well as a Chevy Spark inverter to play with. Was going to convert one for DC control and the other for AC. Maybe this weekend I can get the Gen 1 apart and see if mine looks like what you all have.

Just to let it be known, I have one of these as well and will be taking it apart.

Has anyone applied heat to remove the screws? I have a gen 1 inverter here and I'll try it out.
