In my country the gs450h is a rare car, my oversea supplier supplied me with the wrong inverter combo, following the wiki i wired it wrongly since i assumed it might be the same configuration with the gs45oh OEM converter

Re: killed gs450h inverter
Looks like you connected the HV wrong, it is before the booster and you have fried the 12V DCDC and possibly done more damage. You need to connect to the Inverter bus and not the Battery bus. πI've just learnt something after this - I have not being using the correct inveter for my motor and as Dam...

Re: killed gs450h inverter
Did you do anything before it blew? Any more details on what was going on before it failed? It looks like the 12V dcdc melted... killed gs450h inverter
Hi,ive been running my car with zombie and gs450h with its inverter not sure what happened but the inverter blew, shared are the internals of the inverter, what would have gone wrong, could it be that I connected the bus bars incorrectly and not having bypassed the DC-DC converter?

What is your battery voltage and your precharge dc switch voltage settings? I also get this error (thottle12diff) on when throttle is pressed below half, could you be having a solution for this?PatrcioEV-ATX wrote: βTue Mar 19, 2024 1:09 pm I have not had any issues with the contactors thus far. Hi Joe, very interested to hear more about your w124 with gs450h running gear as I bought two gs450h packages I'm using one for the slk230 swap and was planning the other for my 1990 300ce-24 "c124" w124 conversion... do you have a build thread for your 124?? Cheers Mike. unfortunately I ...

Re: Zombieverter or Lexus GS450h VCU that is the question.
I am planning to do some testing next week with a build with GS450h. Other vehicles configurations are also being tested by Damien, he will create a release once all testing is done. Note the GS450h testing requires the removal of regen blocking in the GS450h code. I'm using the zombie and I realis...

How is the test so far? Do we have regen success with the gs450?tom91 wrote: βThu Mar 14, 2024 8:26 pm https://github.com/damienmaguire/Stm32-vcu
Damien is going to test it now. First tests concluded with an outlander rear inverter.

Re: Zombieverter or Lexus GS450h VCU that is the question.
FWIW I ported the GS450h throttle map code from the GS450h VCU software to the Zombieverter for use in my E46 + GS450h project. Use at your own risk it bypasses most of the current/voltage/etc protection code but drives smoothly and has regen: https://github.com/streber42/Stm32-vcu/tree/gs450h_vcu_...

Re: Newb Asks: How can a 120 amp Contactor carry more current?
You can't use these contactors as an active safety item in a DIY conversion as they are unable to cut the currents we use. When the precharge works perfectly and you never switch off a contactor under load, as in their original carefully controlled and tested OEM application, they work fine. In a D...

Re: Oil pump controller/oil pump overheating [SOLVED]
You don't really need to connect the gearbox solenoid connector at all, unless you want to be able to change between Low and High. I run my oil pump at 35% and I've never noticed any slipping. You can try turning off the PWM when MG1_spd gets over a certain point (say 1000rpm), but not sure how suc...

Do you have a way to measure the supply voltage to the oil pump controller?
