Hello. Now I have a 3D7 drive unit, "go" pedal, keycard and matching VCSEC from the 2023 Tesla MY. 20240410_213952.jpg Today I've checked, how the pedal works. And it works fine. Screenshot from 2024-04-10 21-47-28.png Tomorrow I want to connect the VCSEC module to the vehicle can bus of t...

Re: Runing Tesla's inverter with ATX power supply on the bench

Hm... You could use such PSU as stabilized source. I would suggest that you use this solely for determining if precharge works correctly or of the motor spins unloaded. I would advise against using this for driving motor under any kind of torque. https://openinverter.org/forum/viewtopic.php?p=8196#...

Runing Tesla's inverter with an ATX power supply on the bench

Surely, it is no secret to many that in an ATX computer power supply there is 320 volts of DC voltage running on a large filter capacitor after the diode bridge. It is known that the diode bridge is not very powerful - only 6 amps. Now the question. Is it safe to use such a power supply to spin the ...

Re: Tesla Model 3 Rear Drive Unit Hacking

I have the possibility to buy a 3D7 motor from MY 2023 for 800 euros with a broken rear mount. Is this a good price? How to check it with a multimeter for broken mosfets? Or are there no problems with inverters in this generation of motors?

Re: I bought a Citroen ibooster GEN2 and have some questions

Is this a part of the code in the booster, a recommended mechanical spec, or an error? You have to be careful preloading a brake master cylinder. At some travel point it blocks the port to the brake fluid reservoir. This means as the brakes / fluid heat up the system builds pressure when there shou...

Re: I bought a Citroen ibooster GEN2 and have some questions

20240107_224626.jpg 20240107_224808.jpg Today I discovered that the master cylinder is preloaded about 1 mm by default without any power being applied to the ibooster. So it means that preloading the push rod isn't a bad idea. It has a little free play which is needed for the calibration of the tra...

Does it then provide assistance for a little while and then stop again, or does it not provide assistance at all and just pulses the lock/unlock of the system? You tried pulsing the 12V line for it to unlock and then see it it "times out"? It is possibly looking for a vehicle terminal sta...

Does it transmit any CAN on the CAN bus at 500kbps? Ofcourse with it terminated at 2x120 ohm.

It is from ds7. It works immediately when power is applied to the wake up pin. Makes assist and so on bu...
