Help me identify the motor, please...

I found this motor connected to a BorgWarner gearbox. It has no nameplate or any markings. Can anyone help me identify the motor?

IGBTs for sale

Hi Guys,

I stumble upon some used IGBTs - InfineonFZ600R65KF2. They are used but still in perfect working condition. The units have been swapped for preventative measures. I have about 2000 units :o . The price is €100 each. Anyone interested?

Re: 4-channel BMS with daisychain bus

Hi Guys,

This is great work. How can I get my hands on a couple of boards for testing?

Re: Testing platform

Hi Johannes,

Have you used this power module yet? Do I understand it correctly as this would be a plug and play with V2 or V3 inverter kits?

Re: 4-channel BMS with daisychain bus

Well done! This is great work!

If there are still some left I would like to test them in my Morris Minor. I would need 14 slave modules and 2 isolator modules.

Re: fstat / fslipspnt remain below 5 [SOLVED]

Hi Jack,

Thank you for the reply. My speed encoder is set to AB and is reading the speed just fine. Any suggestions on how I could play around with these or other parameters to get more speed / higher freq to the motor?

fstat / fslipspnt remain below 5 [SOLVED]

Hi Guys, I got my motor to turn but it is turning very slowly. fstat (my guess it this is the freq send to the stator) seems to stay below 5 almost as if limited even if I turn my pot to max. Fstat.JPG I looked at BMS input (connected to gnd), Error input (Pin 13) is 5V and UVLO input (Pin 14) is 3....

Re: Precharge Output

HI Guys,

I changed the current sensors to one that I borrowed from a friend and now the motor is running at 150V.

Do you think there is something wrong with my sensor boards?

Re: Precharge Output

Hi guys, Can you post a plot of the il1 and il2 at 1000 samples and 1000 display limit? Is there any indication that the current is actually very high? Are the current sensors calibrated? 1. I calibrated the sensors a while ago with motor running and the sensors connected to that motor. (attached) I...

Re: Precharge Output

Update: I lowered the DC bus voltage to 50V from 150V and setting fslipspnt 10 and ampnom 20 started to turn my motor. Finally  When I increase ampnom to above 40 the inverter stop. I am trying to search for the cause but cannot get the it. My guess is some current limit? The ocurlim is set to ...

Re: Precharge Output

Hi guys, Thanks for the response. I connected the temp sense and it reads around 30°C. I still get these errors when I run the inverter with fslipspnt 10 and ampnom 100. It is as the inverter work for a split of a second and then switch off. The error codes: [501]: DERATE - TMPHSMAX [52830]: WARN - ...

Precharge Output

Hi guys, When I try to start the inverter in manual mode I get the MPHSMAX - DERATE error after running set fweak 10 start 2 set fslipspnt 10 set ampnom 100 I think the issue is the precharge circuit. I looked at the relay output of pin 20. What should the output voltage be? I have changed the udcsw...

Voltage Sense Board Errata fix error [SOLVED]

Hi Guys, I am so exited, just received my kit. :geek: I seem to run into an error with the voltage sense board. In the Errata the instructions for the fix is to connect the pin 2 of JP1 to the closest VCC. But originally on the board (and schematic) pin 2 of JP1 is connected to ground. Am I missing ...
