Re: Tesla Large Drive Unit Support Thread
Have had some good test run att 55Volt.
Tested 110Volt and got into a problem. At 7000rpm the DC minus cable fuse blow at 25 amp...motor made a jerk and stoped functioning (DC bus down). One led ( pen pointing at) on the inverter card on the picture lit up.
When I try to restart and set ut to ...

Re: Tesla Large Drive Unit Support Thread
My mistake...lowered udcswbuck instead of udcmin.
Now it is turning but only at less than 1rpm. Board is installed in a stock LDU 2013 P85 Sport, is this the speed sensor that has to be repinned to make it work?

Re: Tesla Large Drive Unit Support Thread
Yes, I can get it into RUN and activate Forward and apply volt to the Pedal input. I can see that the pot value changes to high value than the potmin value and the sound of the inverter respond to the throttle change...
I'm a bit puzzled.

Re: Tesla Large Drive Unit Support Thread
Well, everyting looks right (as far as I can understand) on the Web interface and I can hear the inverter work as I press the pedal but it doesn't turn.
Will continue on Tuesday night.

Re: Tesla Large Drive Unit Support Thread
Hi!
I have a ready built board that is installed in LDU and connected to 54Volt.
I can get it into RUN and activate Forward and apply volt to the Pedal input but the motor doesn't move. I can see that the pot value changes to high value than the potmin value.
Can I expect it turn with 54Volt ...

Re: LDU parameter tuning
Well I have seen it but feel it is very limited...would like a complete list :-)
I bought a fully build and tested Tesla LDU card and am trying to get it up and running.
So far I connected Ignition 12V, ground, start button.
I don't get it to respond to the start signal, I can only activate it ...
