Identify the connector... Play the game!
Hi All. Maybe someone has come across one of these packs used in a car... They must be used by some OEM. I have seem similar bricks with VW badging on. The Connector is for the Built in BMS board. The Only visible marking on the connector says 19G156 It appears to have a pin pitch of 2mm pitch... Po...

Re: Mitsubishi Outlander rear axle
Does anyone know the weight of the Rear Motor without the reduction Gearbox part, IE just the motor?
The Wiki says 42kg, but it is not clear if this refers to the "whole" unit as one would buy from a breakers yard with the reduction gearbox and differential attached or without.
Thanks

Re: BMW S-Box Phev (SafeyBox 9846612)
Does anyone know if the ZombieVerter VCU can use the BMW S-Box to replace the IVT Shunt yet?
The SBOX is nice and compact solution for Precharge and Contactors and they cost less than the IVT Shunt.
I am in the gathering parts phase now.
Thanks

Re: L210 gearbox
Does anyone know the OEM Part number for the Rubber Flex Mount Coupling of Output Shaft of the L210 Gearbox? Or Could someone please take some quick Measurements? The Wiki on the L210 seems to describe the Metal flange... These Aftermarket types are available, and I am hoping one of them fits... Tha...

G9200-52033 Inverter
I have just cracked open a G9200-52033 Inverter, I bought on Ebay, I got it the part numbers wrong before I managed to get a L210 + Inverter combo. So anyway I decided to open it and have a play. It's on the bench but I cannot get it spit out any data. Looking at its innards it seems to be missing o...

Re: ESP32 VCU development
What version of the ESP Core are you guys using for this. I am on ESP32 by esspressif System 2.09 in Arduino Boards Manager. I cannot get the collins ESP32_Can Library to work. The examples don't get past "Initializing" ( It seems to get stuck on CAN0.begin(500000);) So it seems like the C...

Solved.
There is no, Voltage cutoff. My CAN routine was sending garbage... Whoops. Clicking away nicely now.

BMW S-Box Phev (SafeyBox 9846612)
I have a S-Box on my desk bought from a Breakers. Trying to play with it but I don't currently have a high Voltage Battery. I tried the code from Damiens Github, that the Wiki links to, but this code fails to compile since crc.h is and I assume crc.c is not included in the repo. ( I am also using a ...

Re: Toyota Inverter Clocked Serial Interface Protocol
Hi Pete
Thanks, read that thread, but it does not answer my question about the free running Clock. So maybe I should have rather posted in VCU thread
Setting the USART to Synchronous mode does not deliver a constant 500Khz. It only clocks on data bits as per the datasheet.

Toyota Inverter Clocked Serial Interface Protocol
Hi All Hope this is the correct place to ask this question. In the Zombieverter Source, I see that a timer is setup to a pin that to provide the Clock signal for the Serial Interface. and according to the wiki this is constant 500KHz. I cannot find where the actual data transmission from the VCU to ...

Re: L210 gearbox
Hi Guys Very Exciting thread this. Got myself a L210 + Matched inverter. Plugs / Connectors on order. Still need to buy a Zombie Verter. Just getting the parts together for a build. In doing so thought about the Cooling of the whole lot. Would it be completely daft to run the L210 gearbox cooling li...
