Re: Lexus GS450H VCU Support Thread

Hi Damien, Just wondering if you realize that the pin numbers on the drawing of the Toyota 40-pin header are not the same as the numbers on the back of the header? On my header (on a 2010 Toyota Crown hybrid inverter, part number G9200-30070) pin 1 is where you have pin 32 and vice versa. Please cor...

Re: GS450H Discussion

Has anyone yet put an electric clutch on the spline of the transmission to lock the shaft, instead of locking it permanently? Then one would be able to utilize the internal mechanical oil pump by releasing the electric clutch and driving the vehicle only from MG2. This would save the use of the elec...

Re: New use case: 230V AC from a few V DC

Hello Johannes,
Will your Prius Gen 2 controller board drive a Camry Hybrid AVV50R inverter?
Have you modified it to make 3-phase AC?
Where does one get the 3-phase neutral from (or the single phase neutral, for that matter)?
Thanks for a great set of videos.
Regards,
Ian

Re: 450H HV Terminal Post 3D Printed Enclosure

Here's my simple implementation. Two posts made out of 3/4" diameter brass rod machined down to 16mm, each with a 6mm hole for the bolt. A 55 x 30 x 20 block of polypropylene foam cut with a sharp scalpel into an oval shape slightly larger than the hole in the inverter with two 14mm holes of ce...
