Re: Step Down (Buck) charge v3 o.i. does not work
if 380 is connected to the three-phase diode bridge, then the rectified voltage will be about 530 volts. A downgrade scheme is needed. but it is very unstable and does not allow you to work with a large charge capacity. in addition, it does not respond to settings and charges with whatever current i...

Re: New CATL 180ah 14.8V modules Vs Used Hyundai Ionic 5 Modules
I have been making various electric vehicles for many years. I've tried many different batteries. catl is the best that exists on the market. I use catl 4s1p 180ah , 6s1p 116 ah. they perfectly give off huge currents to the load and do not heat up at all. they also don't seem to degrade after years ...

Re: strong tremor of the motor when rolling backwards.
No. measuring only on one igbt module was a mistake, it gave out an even stronger tremor.
now I have current sensors that take into account the total total. I connected the power outputs in parallel in front of the current sensors.

Re: strong tremor of the motor when rolling backwards.
I have tried syncofs 0 and pin replacement. this works exactly the same as with my current syncofs without replacing the resolver contacts. but it's more convenient for me to change the syncofs so that I don't accidentally forget to change the contacts of the resolver somewhere.

Re: strong tremor of the motor when rolling backwards.
this was less noticeable on single inverters. now I use two power modules in parallel, output and input (front outlander inverter), this gave me the opportunity to receive more than 200 kW of power from it, slip the wheels on dry asphalt even in 4th gear (I have saved the gearbox) but it also greatl...

Re: strong tremor of the motor when rolling backwards.
I spoke in one of the topics, after ordering new boards in jlcpcb, something changed and the syncofs became correct by exactly 180°, I think either they messed up some tracks or the processor has a difference.

Re: strong tremor of the motor when rolling backwards.
It uses an outlander inverter and a total 230 volt battery. I'm afraid that when I plug in the entire 380 volt battery, this tremor will tear the transmission.

strong tremor of the motor when rolling backwards.
I can't beat one unpleasant situation (em57 + any inverter + board O.I. v3 5.27 foc). every time the car rolls back with the forward drive turned on, the engine starts to shake wildly, switching to neutral or turning on the reverse does not eliminate it! pressing the brake pedal does not eliminate i...

there is a power unit there. There is also a power inverter in your photo. but it has external current sensors and external power conductors, which makes it much less convenient to use.

in the end, the most stable and simplest thing is a microchip for mere pennies. I spied its use in factory electric Peugeot motors.

Re: Outlander FEMCU (front inverter)
an interesting feature, today I combined the outputs of two power modules in the front outlander inverter into one, but I left the current sensors for only one module! thus, I deceived the system, the brain of O.I. V3 thinks that, for example, only 100 amperes at phase 1, but in fact exactly the sam...

Re: Mitsubishi Outlander Front Inverter running openinverter, overcurrent issues

I left the rest on the original controller. an additional advantage is that the original controller measures a multiple tempera...

Re: Outlander rear motor and inverter
I figured out a bit about the pins on the board. IMG_20231118_193544.jpg it remains to find out where the output of information about HIGH volts, temperature and which numbers to give a low sig to open the drivers? Is anyone familiar with this information? I'm sure it can easily be connected to a le...

Re: outlander rear motor + openinverter board ?
I would like to know if this is possible with FOC firmware. Initially there is something that I don't see how to solve, because in the motor resolver connector there are 6 cables (R1, R2, S1, S2, S3, S4) and on O.I. mainboard v3, I only see 4 entries in JP2: pin1=S3 pin2=S1/S4 (two wires from motor...

However, I could not identify the main entrances at random. I also have a desire to ...

Re: New use case: 230V AC from a few V DC
Got some new code for you: https://github.com/jsphuebner/stm32-island So I did the obvious: hook up a 40V battery to the Prius Gen2 DC input, run the boost converter to give us about 300V DC and then run two phases at 50 Hz to give us 230V AC. Feed all that through a filter and run your appliances ...
