Re: Outlander rear motor and inverter

Also, output 8 and output 10 and output 12 are temperature sensors of power transistors. but the v3 board does not perceive them adequately with any customization options.

I know that pin 4 = desat. however, if I connect it to the O.I. board, I very often have an overcurrent error, so I stopped connecting it.
these settings will give you very decent speed and power.
to power the accelerator, I use 3.3 volts available on the standard outlander ...

Re: IPM Motor Simulation and FOC Software

I would like to test this on one of my projects, but I'm just a practitioner. . programming is beyond my control. if someone creates a firmware file for the O.I. board that takes into account the described control methods, I will be happy to test them.

Re: Outlander rear motor and inverter

O.I. management greatly expands the scope of available use. with it, I got 350 amperes of battery current with this small inverter, it seems to me that controlling the can bus will not give such a result. I also get a higher speed than in the Mitsubishi itself initially.

Re: Outlander rear motor and inverter

It's not like I'm using can control. I install a johu version 3 board in these inverters. together with it on the table, when I first start up from the power supply at 12-13 volts, I see a current consumption of about 430 ma. The O.I. board itself consumes catastrophically little, so the consumption ...

Re: Inverter Firmware v5.40.R

If this is allowed here, then here is the feedback about testing on the move in a car with two rear outlander motors + two rear outlander inverters.
with a voltage drop of up to 240 volts, the base speed is 93 km/h (72 nmc battery cells), the FW for each inverter = -250 gives very stable control and ...

It works on the latest 5.38 firmware with the inverter in run mode (not manual run!)

7.2seconds 0-100 km/h on grass!!

this car uses a firmware version with a modified syncadv principle (5.36.42B-foc), and the battery voltage is 260 volts. two Outlander motors.

It would be interesting to test the updated firmware on it.

Moved to Drive trains. Please check for a better category before posting under "General".
A classical task for the new maintainers to take care of!

I thought that the question about the program code corresponded to the "general" section in "inverters" . Please forgive me if I was wrong.

The idle mode is always. Does not work.

Hello everyone.
I remember very clearly that I used this mode on one of the previous firmware versions, and it always kept the engine running at idle for automatic transmission.

However, today I was unable to start it. I tried pressing the "start inverter" button while holding down the brake ...

Yes I am considering if it is ok to just add Lebowski brain directly to inverter or would the main chip protest in some way. You have to remember current flow and desat sensing is still active when power supply is on...

if you add two more fans on the other side of the radiator, but on the "other" side, so that the air flows together, your problem will be solved.

this temperature is quite normal, there is no need to worry.
for the inverter, anything above 80° is critical, and the motor can tolerate 130° in long climbs.

a) cracked solder joint of connector on OI board. Diagnose with microscope or by wiggling every single pin with tweezers. (I don't think a continuity test will discover this because intermittent).

my opinion is exactly the same. somewhere the soldering contact on the control board is missing.

Re: SDU on 56S (204V nom)

I've always been curious about how to get the basic RPM of the engine from the power plant using sinusoidal firmware.
For synchronous motors, it's easy to do this by disabling the FW, which allows you to obtain the RPM based on the current battery voltage.
However, how can усwe achieve this using ...

Thanks, I didn't think of that. It's a strange solution, but you could use 12 volts for this purpose, like everyone else.
I'm going to use it with a small V3 Joohu board and not use the small steering inverter.

Hello everyone. I need help with this inverter.
I'm applying 5 volts to the red and black wires, but the drivers don't receive power, and connecting the inputs to ground doesn't open the channels.
What am I missing to get it working?

Re: [Driving] Homebuilt Locost 7 - from Motorcycle engine to Leaf power!

and why not use a charging system using an OI board??
in boost mode, you can supply any constant voltage to the input, even 75 volts, and an inverter with a motor will raise it to your battery level.
