someone smarter than me can explain what this is for, I'm guessing some sort of interference IMG_1800.JPG Had seen that this part if the loom , transgresses over MG1 and MG2 phase connections quite closely... There is shielding screen on the phase wires also, so is belts and braces good practice I ...

Re: [WIP] BMW Z3
Edison version of that you have checked out and eliminated that option still stands..
I see the 2.15a version is released, hope that is the panacea for your mounts .
Also pleasing to see the 450h gear change enabled with a 7k to 2k rpm hysteris.

Re: [WIP] BMW Z3
Yes, understood, no load and smoother control that I have is not easy, as we are torque requesting , your twitchy control, would be harder.
I wonder how difficult to progm to go temporarily to speed control, I.e. using rpm as feedback?
Like a marine set up could have. just thinking out loud.

Re the 300h usage, yes you have shown it has great performance promise.. Thanks for the drive you have put in, following a last years statement that seems someone needed to do it...😀 If you are able to measure any rpm to Amps drawn with wheels of the ground, would still be interested for comparison ...

[quote=andybpowell post_id=69807 time= the extremely harsh power delivery makes it hard to drive safely and will tear out my bushes some of the updates in the Zombie pipeline should relieve or hopefully fix this issue so I'm doing the jobs I put off while evaluating the feasibility of the 300h which...

Re: State of Rex hacking? Contemplating putting a Leaf motor in the empty engine space of the Test Bmwagon. Yes, imagine that is a challenge.. anything approximating stable current draw , you can manage would be great, as your chart can be interpolated to suit difficult request folks like myself. Thanks.

Re: State of Rex hacking?
Yes thanks for the thoughts,
Had considered the 2 plan, leaf motor is not easy connect to present BMW engine , had a small water blast stationary motor, but figure not enough to get to the unloading limit, but would help figure out the regen not functioning.

Re: [WIP] BMW Z3
Nice result there
Thanks for that, looks a vast improvement on the Prius Gen 3 inverter attempt, motor matching issues maybe.
Have initiated BMWagon swap to crown inverter, of matching part number, so hope to fly it soon.

Great work here, have just stumbled across your build..
For this spin up, think was a mention somewhere of changes made by forum folks.
Wondering if still using 2.05a code, or a mod to it?
