Re: CCS file for Azure 445 dmoc
I’m going to look through my stuff side I have the same azure dynamics controller. I’m pretty sure I have a CCS file that will work. I was able to get in touch with wolf and get some help from him even though it took quite a while. I was never able to get the communication to work correctly, maybe w...

Re: 2002 BMW 330ci with GS450H transmission
Not sure if I untherstand correctly but basically one mount is wrong right? One hole will needs to move inwards so can be re-used? and one outwards. Always difficult without pictures. I think you can mill/redrill the current mounts. If that results in an unacceptable quality at least you have the m...

IMG_7088.jpg IMG_7089.jpg IMG_7090.jpg IMG_7092.jpg Had a buddy cut out the .dxf file for the transmission adapter plate, and he only charged me $40!! I tossed him an extra $10 for some cutoff scraps for mounting brackets. Welded on some bolts for location pins, and drilled out the bolt holes to si...

Do you know what are the OEM bolts made of? I'm pretty certain they're neither copper OR aluminum, but the buss bars are definitely copper

Re: 2002 BMW 330ci with GS450H transmission
On a positive note, I was able to modify the Lexus transmission mount by cutting off the OEM mounting flanges where the 2 stamped steel parts meet and welding in some flat bar stock. In the E46, the mount points are higher on the passenger side compared to the driver side and also has a step (not fl...

Re: 2002 BMW 330ci with GS450H transmission
I found out that the oil pump for the GS450h transmission is shot when I took it apart to change the bearings. I guess it's better to find out this way rather than after mounting the transmission in the car. I'm toying with the idea of eliminating this unit, and using the electric hydraulic power st...

Re: 2002 BMW 330ci with GS450H transmission
Very likely that this pump was replaced in the car I pulled it from based on the sticker. The model number cross references a Mazda 5, but it looks like the majority of them are very similar, if not the same manufacturer. There are embossed branding from "Koyo" on the reservoir and the pla...

Re: Wanted: Power posts for Lexus GS450h inverter.
I got a good start making the power posts before someone pointed out that brass has much less conductivity than copper (about 1/3)... I'm not sure if I'll continue down that path, as they also pointed out that using readily available aluminum spacers with a longer bolt will be a LOT less work.

Creating a dedicated thread for this topic. I intend to get logs from my US BMW i3 during DC Fast charging since this seems to be a popular Charge Controller for conversions and will aide in achieving CCS DC charging instead of Chademo. It seems a lot about EV conversions these days, and in the day...

I need to make an update, but I haven’t been able to do much between lack of motivation and getting stuck on another project... they always take longer than you can plan for. Re: Help me communicate with Azure Dynamics DMOC445 or I sell it
I decided to try emailing wolftronix again after another failed attempt to communicate. Since I’m getting the same “target not found” error, I think ccshell doesn’t like the arduino in the mix. Luckily, I got a reply from Wolf and ordered a couple recommended rs232 to USB adapters I also noticed tha...

After a bit too much time coercing a handful of uncooperative pins back into their proper locations..... we have a successful chip swap (AGAIN) and parameters in the web interface!!! Re: Zombieverter programming help
Yeah, I think the most likely reason is that I somehow sent 12v down the uart line. I’m just at a loss to remember when or how this possibly happened without me realizing. I’m pretty good about being careful, but I should have noticed something or remembered some “oops” moment... oh well The biggest...

Re: Zombieverter programming help
I didn’t cause and damage unsoldering the old chip and the board isn’t defective because I have continuity from the stm32 uart3 pins to the WiFi tx/rx pins and no shorts anywhere. I don’t see any reason to tinker with the bass board when the only way to get it useful would be replacing the chip agai...
