Re: Model 3 High Voltage Controller
EDIT: Adjusted number of amps I pulled to 30. Attached file instead of broken google drive link. ORIGINAL: I have pulled around 30 amps at HV_UP. Any update on this? I'm not aware of any amp draw limitations. I'm also using mine for off grid solar battery, not EV. Also, if it's helpful to anyone, I ...

You'll need to modify the pins based on the board you're using.

Re: Model 3 High Voltage Controller
I don't believe you need 0x6F2 for the model 3. I was able to get it to work on the model 3 battery without it. You do need to modify the code in the sketch though.
I think it's a model S specific code.

Re: Model 3 High Voltage Controller
Thanks to the help of everyone on this forum and especially bielec, I was able to get HV contact closure. I did indeed need a capacitor connected to the output of the HV lines of the battery. I now have 2 issues I'm wondering if anyone else has encoutered. They may be related. 1) The HV contactors n...

Re: Model 3 High Voltage Controller
I now have contact closure! I needed a capacitor across the HV output presumably to satisfy the charge up time of the precharge process. The contactors take a lot of current at the start and the dcdc converter puts out a lot of voltage too, I saw almost 20v across the battery terminals for a moment...

Re: Tesla Model 3 Battery Hacking
Hello, Any experience with HVIL (High Voltage Interlock Loop) issues on model 3 battery pack? I have a full tesla model 3 battery pack from a salvaged car. Besides replacing pyro fuse, no internal modifications. I've used raspberry pi zero and evtv candue to send and read messages from battery. We a...
