Re: EV MPPT for E-Golf 2020
What you have is similar to James at realsolar cars. His system is 300w (limited i think by the transformers he could source, though i might have that wrong) Anyway i believe his system only works whilst the car is running for safety reasons. I have been musing this too for my env200 when camping. I...

Re: GTE battery isolation
hey big pie. do you mind me bring my pack to you in the env200 and applying your fix to the muxsan pack? I dont like the idea of taking the cells apart like the bike guy on ESphere, his soldering of the cell link left alot to be desired. (ok on a bike that you can jump off of and run away from thoug...

This feels like a belated 40th birthday present. Amazing progress Johannes and yuhi and celeron. Very eager to see the esp32 variant of this for my env200. Gonna be working on an esp32 bridge to replicate the solar export matching of the ovms and homeassistant. If i could get that and ccs and the 40...

Edit i should qualify they are not the same as the gen1 leaf ones. But any post 2013 leaf disconnect will work i.e. those with the white lifting hinge (not green like the gen1)

Having bought a 40kwh pack which came without one to upgrade my 24kwh vans battery i am left with a less useful 24kwh pack which id like to use for grid storage via a fronius inverter. They are not the same as the leaf pack ones. If anyone knows of a seller or even the manufacturer and part number t...

amazing work Jamie, was hoping for something like this for CCS for when i supplement the env200's rapid charging capabilities. would be great to have the kind of logging that something like this is capable of. My pet hate is a failed charge when you're not sure whether its the charger or the car at ...

Re: VW - Beetle 2003
I'm thinking I might have a perished bush in the dog bone mount. Same thing happened a few years back to my leaf 2011. It took three seperate garages to find the cause of the horrendous torque steer it creates. Even nissan dealer missed it. Thankfully control arms arent a mega expensive repair and ...

Love this build. We hired a previa to go camping from bumble campers in the uk. My boys 4 and 5 at the time loved it as the car looked like a bee.
I really like the photos of you charging next to the very pricey oem evs, makes me smile.

That is rubbish news. Let me know when you find new digs with Landlords not playing the game of kicking out the tenants just to up the rent. I will help you shift your tools/ parts etc. imagine the env200 will cope well with that task.

i would have said that the chademo is best at the front or rear and the type two at the side but i guess this is the path of least resistance once you have already got something else installed.
