Re: Zombieverter Updates
I don't really like being called a hypocrite in my private messages, so I'll let you know how Open Source, community based projects work: Everyone has a role in an Open Source project. There are people who drive the project, such as Damien, Johannes, Tom, uhi, Pete and a couple more. Additionally t...

Zombieverter Updates
I have a link setup for Damiens Github and am so excited to see lots of notifications about Tom evnut's work on regen and gearchange. Firstly thanks to both Tom and Damien for their work on the zombieverter hardware and software. But, sorry i may be missing something, I don't see anything on the wik...

Add Outlander Charger to zombieverter chargers
Would it be possible for some one to add the outlander charger to the list of chargers for the Zombieverter. If it is a question of time, then if anybody else would like to have this done maybe we could raise some funds as per Johu suggestion re rewarding people for there time and know how.

Re: GS450h is jerky
Hi,
I don't know if you have tried reducing the throttmax setting in the software. If I set this at say 30 the car is more driveable for me anyway. Latest version of the software is the one I am using.
Good luck

Re: Can1 not working on Zombieverter
I have checked pin 5 of the SN65HVD230 I used and it does not need to be connected to anything which is the same as the VCU. Can anyone confirm if the IVT is connected to Can 2 it will work as long as the vehicle canbus is not connected as well? If it will work I am probably chasing 2 problems, faul...

It's amazing what you can do with a disc cutter!
I really struggle to understand how these cost so much

Can1 not working on Zombieverter
Returning from an MOT test to actually have a fully functioning and road legal BMW Z4 with zombieverter and GS450h transmission and the car started playing up. Long story short the 12v battery voltage was so low that everything went haywire. Before discovering this and as it was pouring with rain I ...

Re: Zombieverter or Lexus GS450h VCU that is the question.
I think he enabled it for the dino but is unsure about letting it out in case someone drops it into first at to high a speed and the programming does not compensate. I think it is a similar reason for regen i.e. car suddenly reversing.

Re: Zombieverter or Lexus GS450h VCU that is the question.
Very glad to learn as to why regen was removed, seems very logical, I wish I was able to do coding for such things so I could contribute to the zombie situation but unfortunately I'll need to remain patient on the sidelines. Cheers for the info. Crasbe does your code include gear change? As I would...

Just to clarify, have you replaced the Zombieverter with the GS450h Inverter controller?

Re: Is300H Inverter Hacking
I'm now going with the is300h trans & inverter now instead of my original plan to use the GS450h trans. So this is great. Hi, before you go down this route as far as I understand it the is300 is not fully supported by the Zombieverter at this time. It is not a selection option in the current so...

Re: GS450h Cuts Out on Heavy Throttle Application SOLVED
Damiens route seems a very sensible approach and it will be interesting to see the results. Re, beating the tar out of the e39. I am not saying that this is not a harware problem. However, prior to 1.11 my car showed the torque cut and Damiens did not and mine is fine now, so it is unlikely that the...

Re: GS450h Cuts Out on Heavy Throttle Application SOLVED
UPDATE. I took the time to replace the four twisted serial cables to screened cable. The shields are all soldered to one wire near the inverter plug then this lead approx 20cm long connects straight to the inverter casing. The inverter itself has a seperate ground strap which goes to chassis. The 4...

Re: GS450h Cuts Out on Heavy Throttle Application SOLVED
As far as my original post is concerned it is. After updating my zombieverter to 1.11. I do not have Torque cutting issue.
It seems Jackk may still have an issue though.

Not sure if you mean me or Jackk, crasbe, but my wiring is as per https://openinverter.org/wiki/File:Zomb-con-et.png. Also went out today to try the settings that Jackk mentioned but unfortunately the Sun was low and I did not see a traffic island in a narrowing of the road. 2 wheels and tyres gone ...

As per catphish my set up is, each serial wire pair is screened and the screen is grounded, and the inverter and box grounded with straps to chassis.
