Re: Cannot initialise Isa shunt through Zombieverter

I have followed the advised method of initialising the Isa shunt using the zombieverter parameters but all it keeps displaying is large junk numbers in the voltage and current fields. I have v2.05 which has a slightly different selection to initialise the shunt but I set it to On to initialise, sav...

Re: WIP 1974 Ford Capri + GS450H

Grab the flywheel/flexplate and "clutch" saves finding a clutch plate from something else it also gives you the option of mounting the complete clutch assembly to your locking plate to provide some cushioning to the driveline. I tried mounting the whole damper minus the flywheel obviously...

the potnom fluctuation is probably my foot on the accelerator pedal being moved due to the juddering as it's quite harsh

Re: Leaf to VW Type 2 Campervan [FINISHED]

Nice idea. I’ll have a look at what you did when I have a bit more time. Current plan is to get adaptor plates and coupler from BratIndustries, but nothing is finalised yet, but I have sent Angus an email yesterday I think to move it forward a bit. Now the beast is free from the old Leaf, I am read...

Probably a setting I need to work out. not sure what you planned to do as far as an adapter goes but I split the leaf gearbox casing and ...

Re: 1974 Ford Capri

Thanks. I'm near sure we've crossed paths on the capri laser or capripower forums? Your name definitely rings a bell! Today I got the lexus towed to my garage. 20 mins had the inverter out. The hybrid battery is missing. And there's a spare transmission oil pump in a little box in the trunk.....? H...

Well that was a waste of time, seems I got over excited and didn't look close enough the front battery box mount is in the way and I'm not changing that so I now have a mesh front lower grill that I didn't need. but it looks good

Re: 1974 Ford Capri

That's a really tidy setup I turbocharged one of my Capri's very budget setup as I had little cash so used a second hand Garrett T3 with draw through setup and low compression pistons from a Ford transit van as they were all I could afford it worked really well right up until one of the pistons came...

Hi all. I've decided to go full EV with my Capri. I found an entire 07 GS450H not far away from me, its missing the hybrid battery but everything else is there. About to start harvesting parts. Transmission, inverter, splined input shaft coupler, drive shaft, oil pump controller, wire harnesses. An...

Re: [WIP] BMW Z3

Did you mention something about a software update in pipeline ? Was discussing your savage throttle to a friend, at local ev mod and build group, and seemed that a rate of change factor or some other accelerator control massaging would help to 'soften' the response, and ease loading on your bushes....

Re: [WIP] BMW Z3

Also as far as I am aware the Mg1 isn't used as a drive motor, this also limits the top speed as mg1 when locked will be the top limit when mg2 has the potential to run faster. in a word no with the input shaft locked the planetary carrier is fixed and the ratio between the gearbox output shaft and...

Re: [WIP] BMW Z3

My Z3 is pretty much off the road for now as the extremely harsh power delivery makes it hard to drive safely and will tear out my bushes some of the updates in the Zombie pipeline should relieve or hopefully fix this issue so I'm doing the jobs I put off while evaluating the feasibility of the 300h...
