Re: Foccci wakeup/sleep discussions
For AC charge using CAN controlled chargers its software change and something that would work for me. Or is there some downsides to think? Isn't it like LIM does AC, at least cable/charge currents are available thru can bus? Plan is to charge from solar, have Johu or anyone else done this type of AC...

Re: Tool to manage openinverter via CAN
Got mapping done. Nice tool. Only thing is should new mapping save permanently, did not see any extra save commands? Otherwise I have problem with focci board.

Re: Tool to manage openinverter via CAN
I'm doing something wrong. How can I get can mapping to work, it seems 0.0.8 version not include it as I get for oic -n 22 can list:
Error: No such command 'can'.
Tried celeron55 github version too.
EDIT: Oh, I got wrong branch

Re: Develop a QCA7000 board?
Around 90mA at 13V. This is a lot of heat for just doing nothing, we should look to possibilities to safe some current. I see 5V low iq SMPS and 3V3 LDO, one option is put uC controlled P-fet switch on 3V3_D line to shut QCA completely. This could be tested by removing R43. QCA datasheet seems to r...

Re: BMW i4 battery 84 kWh
This is interesting and bit dangerous design, as there are no separate BMS boards on every battery module, here every battery cell wiring is connected to one big BMS module. Module isolation for measurement is done on BMS board. This is kind of hazard, because those are low voltage connectors and if...

Looking for Tesla LR pack or equal
Looking for big capacity battery with good SOH and preferably 96S. Tesla 3/Y long range pack or modules would be pretty perfect. Perhaps 108S could be possible option too.
Throw me a PM.

Re: BMW i3 CCS/charge port controller
In the past I could not get LIM to work, its 61356828052-01 2017-08-16 with BMW i3 charging port. For AC charge it will lock the charge plug but never activate CP to activate EVSE, I get CP and PP amps and chargepower is transmitted to the LIM. CCS weldtest always fails to d12, which should be "...

Re: MLBevo Charger- 11kw & 22kw Info
If that's one of the batch from Lars I believe it's probably from a Taycan and probably won't response to ODIS. At least in my experience. Might be best to look for a VAS6154 device and get PIWIS. This one is from Audi e-tron or thats what I was told. I think VAS6154 is good for odis too, so lookin...

Started to investigate 684J 11kW charger. Used lcode but to code using vcds security code is needed so that was no go. Need to get some odis compatible adapter next, I think.

EDIT: Got 684J 11kW charger. After testing I 'accidentally' noticed charger data is on the same CAN bus, no need for two busses on this one. Now that I read previous posts this is clear, mee soo stupid Now I need to code things using ODIS, so there is hope on this.

Re: Prius Gen2 Boost Converter - how to use? [SOLVED]
Because you want to use other cells that make up a smaller battery pack and need to get the module you want to use above 207V. Sure, I answered to johnspark plan "I would like to use the boost converter to top up my ~300V battery to 350 V" which is more likely not needed and would limits ...

Re: Radiator Core Size...cooling capacity?
Well i must dissapoint then as i use Fiat radiator core in my Pug and without fan active Tesla gen2 charger would reduce power because of overtemp. Even 3K3 Outlander charger would reach uncomfortable temperature without active fan. Mitsubishi charger seems not to have high efficiency even having n...

Cable side AC connector is TE YHVA630-5phm-6mm-A and HV output coding A is 2141256-1. But I have no information about data connector so is there any markings for a clue even if its vag own connector? Or any part number for wiring harness that have this connector?

Has anyone looked igbt module model and main capacitor voltage? 400v was verified to work, now looking HV limitations if inverter could do 108s somehow, not needed to get full 4.2v cell voltage - 4.1v (443v) would be nice I did some research, main capacitor is 700uF 450V and IGBT module is MBB600TV...

am 90% positive it is actually switching from high to low, but not much difference in feel. Then it's that remaining 10%.. because you will feel the difference for sure - car acceleration transforms to a jet plane :) Really, there is something wrong. Re: Rear diff ratios with GS450h
Mine has 3.38 with tire circumference 220cm and I would not get any higher for daily driven, perhaps even lower for economy on higher speeds. Personally I would look into gear change code, it would give great low speed torque while keeping good economy on higher speeds. In my case theoretically keep...

Immo gen 4C usage
Immo gen 4C uses different key "challenge" on every T15 (ignition) cycle, even if the same request data is sent. Does anyone know could this immo be used for conversions to somehow recognize correct vehicle paired keys? Request is sent on 0x010 and gets answer on 0x011.

Re: Various parts, Batteries, chargers, inverters
I'm interested on M3 PCS if its 3ph? What code is lasered into the case? Or that gen3 22kW might be possible also. Could be also interested on Peugeot battery, but need to investigate bit more - and shipping might be costly. The case is lasered "113558-02-C" on the EU models and "1135...
