Since I downloaded Ver 2.05, my interface alternates between the spot values and the plotting, if I have the auto refresh box checked. Is there some way to stop this? Thanks

Re: How to reset the Zombieverter
I didn't see an answer to the subject question. Is it as simple as powering down the VCU? I would like to know, since Ver 2.05 has a note that the VCU must be reset or the inverter will not power up on the GS450h, which is the problem I have been having. Thanks.

Re: Zombie & GS450h REQ/CLK/MTH/HTM resistance readings
OK - things are much better now. I have the transmission spinning smoothly and strongly. The problem was a weak 12v battery. I thought I’d covered this by also attaching a battery charger but that still wasn’t enough to keep the inverter happy. Supporting the battery with a power supply set to 13.5...

Re: Inverter is not detecting high voltage (Zombieverter)
GS450S does not use can bus it uses two serial buses. Torque is on htm so that looks ok, inverter voltage, INVudc is on mth so check mth connections. Temperatures, tmphs and tmpm, are also on mth so checking these values will confirm if it's a bad mth connection. I'm reading -27.71 on tmpm, and 0 o...

Programming wemos
I got a Wemos to replace the fried Olimex, and have it on the adapter board. When I plug it into the VCU, the Wifi shows up, but I can't connect to VCU. I've tried to follw the instructions for programming the Wemos, but have had no success. Would anyone be able to program this for me? Happy to pay ...

I just got the Wemos installed. It comes up with an IP 192.168.4.2, but it refuses to connect. Any ideas? Thanks

So, I finally got the wheels to turn last week on my Zombie/GS450h(not smooth, not sure why). Went out this morning to work on it some more, and no Wifi. Open the VCU, and find no lights on wifi, pull it off and there is a burnt spot on back of wifi. It seems from the comments on these forums that t...

Zombie config setup wrong in wiki?
Zombie gs450h not working. After hours of double checking everything, I noticed that status was "potpressed", so I changed to pot min to slightly above offthrottle readings, and everything started working. Am I misreading the config directrions in the wiki?

wiring specs
Would anyone please give specs for wiring between the Zombieverter, gs450h transmission, and inverter, 12v, shunt, etc. The last video i watched said Cat 6 would work for vcu to inverter. I got some Cat 8 for that, and I thought I would use that between trans and inverter also, but wire size seems to...

Re: 450h inverter ohms?
Thanks for steering me there. I'm about to redo my wiring, so good to see wire sizes on that post. So, the 120 ohms is good if not connected to vcu, once connected should go down to 60?

450h inverter ohms?
After watching one of Damiens videos on the 450h wiring I check the ohms on the inverter wiring to mth,etc and got about 125 on all, which he said indicated bad wiring. I then checked the ohms at the inverter connector, and got the same readings, which would indicate the wiring is good. Does this in...

Re: Inverter is not detecting high voltage (Zombieverter)
Thanks for the reply. TMPHS is 0 celsius, and TMPM is -27.71C. I double checked my wiring and I'm getting continuity in correct pins. Any idea what else it could be?

Re: Inverter is not detecting high voltage (Zombieverter)
Where does the invudc reading come from? I had my gs450 spinning on the workbench, but since moving to the car, I can't get invudc to read anything but "0". I tried switching the inverter canbus from 1 to 2 and back but no change. My throttle and gear position work, and it commands torque,...

Re: Chevy Volt Gen 2 charger 24281923
DcDc can be connected to HV directly. If you show it PWM it starts with 14V. But if you remove PWM it will revert to 13.6V as a failsafe. Charger will require 100Hz PWM signal to run and BMS to stop it when pack is full. I bet you could get zombieverter to output 2x PWM signals for you... Thanks fo...

Success! It spins, and oil pump runs.
Reloaded the lateststm32 file. I thought I had already loaded it, but must not have gone through. Does the version # in spot values relate to the stm file, or something else? Mine still reads 1.00.A, but the latest I loaded was V1.01.

Re: ZombieVerter VCU Support
If the opmode = run, should the INVudc show the voltage at the inverter HV terminals? I have 60V at the inverter, but showing 0 on INVudc, and InvStat = off The inverter also has 12v at the low voltage connector. Where does the uaux (reading 12.65 now)reading come from? I assume the VCU? I'm getting...

Re: ZombieVerter VCU Support
I've been going over my wiring. Comparing the Zombie to the wiring diagram I have for the old GS VCU. Does the Zombieverter not use SL1+ and SL2+ terminals of the ECT connector on the GS450h? Also, there are 2 terminals for SP in the connector, are they both used or just one, and if so which one? I'...

Re: ZombieVerter VCU Support
Thanks for that. After hours of trying, the wifi connection to the "inverter" SSID finally stayed up long enough to allow me to load a working prior version. Once done, the wifi access stabilised and the motor behaviour reverted to the smooth operation - all good. The question I wanted to...

Re: ZombieVerter VCU Support
The shunt readings are constantly monitored regardless of the drivetrain or vehicle in use. Direction changes to neutral by default in off mode. Monitored, yes, but what affect would it have on drivetrain operation if the A/C and power steering was pulling amps through the shunt as opposed to the p...

Re: ZombieVerter VCU Support
Another question. After moving the setup from the bench to the car, I'm not showing HV to the inverter. I still need to do more diagnosis for that. While trying to get my inverter to power up today(showing no inverter UDC) I noticed that with the run switch off, the gear position showed neutral most...

Re: ZombieVerter VCU Support
Does the VCU use the volt and amp measurements from the shunt during operation of GS450H to control the transmission, or just during startup? I am using the contactor assembly(normally mounted on the front of the battery pack) from the gen 2 Volt battery pack for my HV relays, and would like to use ...
