Thanks Johannes, updating the web interface helped. Now I see the parameters in the console even after a reboot VCU.

Re: Unwanted "over current" messages Prius20

A snapshot before the board was powered off. If you restart, only the web interface without parameters will be visible. I will assume that the file 5.34, after being extracted from the zip folder, somehow affects the memory of the stm32.

Re: Unwanted "over current" messages Prius20

You can download a preliminary binary here: https://github.com/jsphuebner/stm32-sine/actions/runs/8942103986 It looks like I couldn't make friends with the demo versions of the firmware 8-). I downloaded the binary file via the web interface and could no longer see the parameters in the console. I ...

johu wrote: Thu May 02, 2024 7:03 pm I think I will include this in the next release. Had similar issues and created a FW on the fly that ignores the input and just keeps going. Runs fine.
Oh, that's great Johannes, I'll wait for the new firmware release for normal operation without a current error. Thank you for all the work!

Unwanted "over current" messages Prius20

Hi guys. My setup consists of a Prius20 inverter and a Lexus motor. When I use it at full power (160A 180V battery current), I sometimes get the inverter to stop due to excess current, this creates inconvenience. With the settings I could not get it to work without failures. Maybe you have a firmwar...

Hello everybody! I got to use the electric power steering mini Cooper p56, for conversion to the evi project. I was able to receive survey messages with the help of kanhacker arduino. But there is no further launch progress, now I need the ID of the launch byte on the can bus so that I can send it t...

Re: FOC tuning Prius Gen 2 Inverter with VCU V1.1-No Reverse and Throttle control

I had a similar behavior with the gen2 inverter and the foc5.14 firmware, the easiest thing is to try installing the firmware of earlier versions, for example foc5.11.

The VCU is performing commands ,and not responding any errors ( inverter ON,Inverter halted and etc ). The 55W bulb +3 X21W bulbs are as well conected according to scheme to 12v car battery 100A. But ,there is no result, any light flashing or motor turning. The stated web link is probably out of dat...

Re: Help neede in program settinsg

Judging by the error in the spot values, your VCU does not have a connection with the inverter, check thoroughly the wiring of the connection exactly as here https://openinverter.org/wiki/Toyota_Prius_Gen2_Inverter_Controller . Do not forget the first inclusion of 12 volts after changes in the wirin...

Re: Help neede in program settinsg

I am using the Toyota Prius GEN2 Inverter controller from Openinverter.org As I know, the Prius Gen2 V2 control board cannot rotate the motor with a resolver, only the encoder. With the Prius 20 inverter, the VCU smd board with charging function is also used. Which engine do you have connected for ...

How to easily operate the GS 450h electric oil pump

Tell me whether it is necessary to regulate the speed at all? For people who use Lexus gs 450h automatic transmission in their projects and just want to control an electric oil pump and have its speed adjustment from 0 to maximum, I found a simple solution for using a cheap 36-48v 350W bicycle contr...

It's a pity I don't yet have the necessary knowledge to understand the firmware code and can mislead others. Better, someone competent in the field of programming could see the difference.

Re: Kilovac contactor has a high resistance

For example, I also successfully use high-current solid-state DC relays, 60 A for pre-charging without a radiator and 400A with a large radiator for the charging port. And I like such an inexpensive solution bought on Aliexpress. https://www.aliexpress.com/snapshot/0.html?spm=a2g39.orderdetails.orde...

Re: When it is not possible to set up synchronization !

The solution to the reason for the inability to adjust the correct angle of the rotor position turned out to be equally simple and difficult to accept, the reason was the firmware version 5.12-5.14 foc. I installed 5.11 foc and after a couple of minutes the desired result of sincofs was found withou...

Heating temperature for hybrid transmissions ?

Now when I start vcu in run mode I immediately get din_ocur err...
