Great work already! I've got a 40kWh pack also lying around and it would be great if someone can crack the controls.
I'm also interested if anyone has used Zoe modules with some other BMS.

Re: SDU external oil pump
Is that front drive unit? Or model X rear? Can't place the cooling mounting. And can you exain how the oil travels? Where is the pickup and is the cooling partial and partial injected? I can't figure out the return of the oil cooler. That is front drive unit from a 2016 Model S Performance. The pic...

Re: i3 controller hacking from diyelectriccar.com
I have an i3 but I don't think that'll help, I don't want to tear down the car and track where each wire is going to I think it's better to try to find the wiring diagram.

Re: i3 controller hacking from diyelectriccar.com
I could potentially test in Finland. I have access to a complete unit. It's not mine but I'll check if it's OK to open it.
I think I'll buy it anyway after this project is complete

Re: i3 controller hacking from diyelectriccar.com
Oh wow, just realized there's been a lot of discussion on this topic after all! That is so great! Not sure if I have skills to help on hacking, but I have an access to an inverter if needed. I was planning to use Tesla SDU in my conversion but it may be a bit overkill in a 1975 Audi. i3 motor and ge...

Re: SDU external oil pump
Happy New Year to all. I am in the process of fitting an external oil pump using the type suggested by Damien (thank you). I completely removed the mechanical unit, piping etc and machined a new internal spray nozzle. I will be using the drain plug port in the diff case as the supply to the pump vi...

Re: SDU external oil pump
Hi! Peter, did you find a solution? I'm having the same problem to be solved right now. I have the gear housing open right now to access the oil pump and figure out how to get the cooling work in reverse operation. There would be space to relocate the piping but the pump does not work properly if ru...

i3 controller hacking from diyelectriccar.com
Hi all - my first post on this forum. I have an access to salvage parts of an 2015 i3 REX. I was reading the topic of i3 controller hacking from diyelectricar.com. It was said to be continued here but I didn't find any follow-up. What happened to that - is it still working-in-progress? Anyone been u...
