A lot of breakers seem to see packaging as a cheap way of getting rid of rubbish they would otherwise have to pay for some one to take away, I guess you were unlucky and ordered just after bin day

Re: Omit Wifi module on inverter boards and lower price?
Brattitude sent me one of his boards to try on an early zombie and while the D1 was better it still wasn't great. I initially had issues connecting with with the ESP32-WROOM-32 on Johu's latest mini main board but it seems that was due to me having the current limit on my ( cheap Chinese so don't tr...

Re: Omit Wifi module on inverter boards and lower price?
Personally, the fewer boxes the better but I have struggled with poor comms so do see the benefit of a more robust communication system. As a UK based customer finding a way around customs charges would offer about a 20% saving ( Damien seems to manage but I don't know if that's due to the luck or i...

Which way up does the mini main board go?
Before I apply any power can someone please confirm this mini main board is the right way up on the adapter board? I've assumed the text direction should match the adapter board but we all know what assumptions lead to.

Updated side input port is now on Grabcad, the M20x1.5 thread prints a little lose on one of my slicers and a little tight on the other (Flashforge and Cura) . The small overhangs and threaded holes all print OK without support for me but YMMV. Let me know how you get on. IMG_20230717_105749.jpg htt...

Yes, it's designed to work with the Damien's design of posts. I'm printing a confirmation over the weekend and if it's all OK I'll release it next week.PatrcioEV-ATX wrote: βWed Jul 12, 2023 4:19 pm This looks great. That's very helpful. It's what I had in mind and it's great to have it confirmed. Cheers, Andy. Just be careful about drilling holes in your chassis - the UK DVLA can get very difficult about it. Having said that Scimitar chassis look a bit like Colanders and I've never seen two alike apart from at...

Re: GS450h Transmission. What engine mounts.
Try and get the output as close to where the original was as possible and try and match it's angle too. You'll then hopefully be able to make a hybrid of the original Lexus mount and the bolt on Scimitar crossmember. At the front you've got more of an issue if you are trying to avoid modifying the c...

A lot of older gauges are run at around 9V through a voltage regulator, but I would have thought it would survive 12V at least for a while. Is it just stuck at the top of the scale? perhaps a little percussive maintenance is needed??

MG1 and MG2 clearly displayed and you can get an indication of road speed. Speed ratio appears to be 1:21 as Celeron says

I don't think it's the bleeding that's made the difference it's the spacers you added that are allowing the pistons to return far enough to uncover the transfer (intake) ports. Keep at it I'm sure you're getting there.

I do have that very vacuum pump, and my concern with it is that, the Master Cylinder sits way high in this truck possibly 2 feet above the slave cylinders, and if I suspect the air is trapped inside the MC then we would have to work against physics and gravity with a vacuum pump and try to pull the...
