I have found a screen recording when I did testing And can confirm that status was set as below
and throttle reading when not pressed as below
Could this be the reason for not going into the run mode?

Re: Zombie not going into Run mode
Status has to be "none" to go into run mode. Ideally the throttle has to be connected and calibrated correctly, but may work if disconnected and potmin set to 0. Thank you very much, I would like to check this. As I had to recall this from memory I may have been wrong. It makes sense as i...

Re: Zombie not going into Run mode
Thanks for the suggestion but I feel if I haven't sorted run mode issue the throttle calibration issue is secondary. Even with the throttle pedal disconnected it's not going into the run mode still

Re: Zombie not going into Run mode
I have just tried this - no change on refresh. I pressed show errors and it displayed a message no errors. Opmode still remains off. I have to add that this board was made by JLC PCB and I added a CAN chip and few transistors myself. But all buttons reading correctly if I look at dinStart and T15 ig...

Re: Zombie not going into Run mode
No stored or reported errors. For Udclim I first used default values and then tried zero as an experiment. I just tried default values the same result. What are the conditions for VCU to go into Run mode?

Re: Zombie not going into Run mode
The inverter? You mean zombie not going into run mode right? Yes correct sorry I didn't express myself correctly I meant VCU :( UDCsw is set to 0 which is correct. It is possible the Vehicle is not working right when set to classic, I will look into this. Please try BMW E31 or E46. Are you getting ...

Re: Zombie not going into Run mode
Thank you for a quick response Tom I only have Zombieverter with power hooked up and buttons I mentioned. Nothing else is connected. I also tried connecting Prius Throttle and this is working correctly as well. I can see throttle response accordingly to me operating the pedal. I did try BMW E31 just...

Re: Volvo C30 with Leaf drivetrain
I wonder what is the reason you decided to sell the Volvo C30 in the end. I like this car and was thinking about choosing this for my EV conversion. Is there any gotchas that made you sell this one?

Thank you Johannes, but did I understand correctly that there is no RS485 implementation?johu wrote: ↑Sun Oct 15, 2023 2:50 pm I'm not Pete, anyhow this firmware implements the CAN interface https://github.com/jsphuebner/esp32-web-interface

Re: Remote ESP32 Module with RS485 and CAN bus Interfaces
Hey Pete,
I love the idea of the external ESP 32 module. I wanted to make my own by using your design but the firmware link doesn't exist anymore. Did you move it to a different repository?

Re: SDU parameter tuning - major failure - can't select drive gear
Tripmode 1 is the best idea as Catphish suggests. As an added path to clamp spikes I use suitably voltage rated paralleled TVS in series with a high wattage 25R resistor across the inverter HV input cables as close to the inverter as possible. Hi Peter could you share the details of your connection...

I damaged Tesla motor current Hall sensors
While I was unsoldering the Hall sensors I damaged one pin on both sensors. The problem is very similar to what Damien described in this video at 10:00 https://youtu.be/VVSRzmP-fRw I wonder if anyone had similar problem and if anyone has any idea how to fix this? Would it be possible to cut the sens...

I programmed a couple of modules including Olimex and Wemos D1 mini. I had an issue which turned out to be a cable. So I decided to make a video about it:

I have updated esp8266 board package up to version 2.7.4 and sketch compiled correctly and I managed to upload sketch to Olimex board and program SPIFFS.
next test it on the board
