Thanks for the replies! While "anything" is possible, marrying Al to FE is an engineering task for threaded fasteners and alignment is critical; so not a viable option. I was hoping to avoid most of that. I still haven't actually got my hands on the motor, so I'm probably missing something...

Hi Guys, another first time poster here so bear with me. I think I've found myself in the same tricky position as GGeter. I was planning a conversion with an Outlander PHEV rear diff assembly, the vehicle has a solid rear axle with a 4.1:1 diff so the plan was to lose the diff and reduction assembly...
