This controller allows you to charge your converted vehicle on CCS high power chargers. It fully supports CCS1 and CCS2 and has been tested on numerous charger brands.
For integrating it into you vehicle it offers
- A configurable CAN interface for BMS and vehicle communication
- Two Contactor drivers for your charge port contactors
- A lock motor driver with optional feedback for locking the connector to the charge inlet
- Multiple wakeup sources - i.e. controller powers up when cable is plugged in
- Three LED drivers for red, green and blue
- Three temperature sensor inputs to measure charge inlet pin temperatures
- A pushbutton input
- An analog input for a separately measured charge port inlet voltage (optional)
Besides running DC fast charge sessions Foccci can also handle AC charging sessions and forwards CP and PP current limits via CAN to a separate on board charger.
You will receive a V5.1 board with full wakeup functionality. Optionally you can order an ESP32 CAN module for accessing the configuration and a full set of connectors and enclosure.
Please be aware that you are just buying a controller, it does not come with a CCS inlet!
The community edition does NOT include personal support by me but you can get help at the forum and you can educate yourself in the adjacent wiki. If you do need personal support, you can buy a engineering hours
For setting parameters you will need an ESP based wifi board (see below) or you need to be comfortable with a command line tool.
This product is fully open source, Hardware and Software can be found on github.
