Bit of a mystery this GS450h in NSW Australia: I'm guessing a flood victim as it's a 'statutory write off' due to water damage. I wonder if the transmission and inverter are still ok...could be a cheap source of parts:

We're doing a lot of work with Beatties and several of our course participants have purchased batteries from them... highly recommended 8-)

Also there are these Siemens motors for 800 EUR (ex-Damien) and new for 1200 in Holland. There's also a suitable transaxle for it with a 8.28:1 ratio.

I spoke to him yesterday and both are still available, I was very tempted in a 'this is so cool I want it' way but just could not justify the expense for something I don't have a specific project in mind for.

Rear diff/electric motor from BMW 2 Series F45.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-2-SERIES ... 3198741222

Can't find any information on the specs of these (aside from on Wikipedia, that they're a 65kW motor).

Would be interesting to know which way around they're mounted in the car. I'm looking for a motor for a front wheel drive conversion where it makes sense for the motor to be forward of the diff. Suspect it's the other way in the BMW though.

P1216676 Differential Rear Volvo XC90 2014 Engine Electric (Hybrid) 1080150

Not that I'm looking to purchase it, probably going to start with an MGR but might be of interest to some.

GKN’s eAxle takes power from a 65 kW, 240 N·m electric machine with a nominal maximum input speed of 13,000 rpm and, via a two-stage single speed gearbox with a ratio of 10:1, delivers a nominal output torque of 2400 N·m.

Would be interesting to know how much more you can get extra out of this. It looks the same as the V60 motor. In holland V60 phevs diesel are cheap (12k). Get rid of the diesel stuff and heavy 5cyl. add batteries. and you have a nice modern EV.

My v60 phev can drive in EV mode up to 130km/h (and is not the fastest in EV mode). A bit more power would be nice.....

I think this is the same one I've been trying to get to answer a message for more photos for a month now. Possibly relisted under a different user.

Did you try calling the number in the pic? It seems they are trying to sell outside of ebay to avoid seller fees...cant really blame them.

they do have a negative comment on ebay for non delivery of an item... you might want to tread carefully given the very cheap price

I've not had time to call during normal hours. Likely will later this week, if its still there.

Noted.

I'm likely going to get one from Pacific Motors, they seem to have decent prices, lots of info, and good feedback. Anyone have experience with them (ebay or their own site)?
