Tesla SDU Current Limit Fault

Hi all I have a SDU that has recently been assembled with the V6 board. I have 3 Tesla Modules in series for the power supply.
As soon as the contactor shuts the current limit fault is active and the motor will only turn at a very slow speed. I have outputs from both current sensors and the max current settings are well above this so should not be a problem. Any ideas?

Do your ocurlim and il1 and 2 gains share the same sign? i.e. if one is negative, they all must be.

Also what is iacmax set to? CURRENTLIMIT likes to fire seemingly randomly, but it will show when iacmax is reached.

3 Tesla modules is 72v - are you running in manual mode? See the wiki - the 'schematics and instructions' page has a guide for using manual mode.

Also make sure fmin is low (0.2 is good).

Thanks for the suggestions guys.

Jon were you meaning the settings I dont quite understand the question sorry.

Isaac IACMAX is set to 5000 so well and truly above. I did bring this down to just a few amps and was able to see an increase in motor speed as I increased it until about the 5 amp area where no further increase was seen im guessing because of the error state.

I have read the Wiki about manual mode. I lowered fmin from 1 to 0.2 but no change.

Can you look at the parameter file here? https://openinverter.org/wiki/Configuration_Files

Definitely that ^
It appears you have a number of settings that are way off a known working parameter set.

So what setting do you think is causing the current limit fault?

Generally it's a combination of a few settings. Can you flash the settings from the wiki page please? Or download your settings and post the .json? (much easier to compare, screenshots are rather a pain).

Which firmware version are you on?

Often turning slowly is a symptom of a reversed encoder, but that's unlikely given that you're using an SDU.

Thanks Isaac I just flashed with SDU Macro parameters and the motor now spins up freely. The current limit fault still popped up but I think were on the right track. Very happy
