Purchased the V1 spline coupler from vwbrady. Thanks! Updated first post to notate purchase price.
I may end up in Colorado before this really gets underway - anyone know of any good conversion shops there?

There is a high probability that it will happen, yep. Likely in the Oct / Nov timeframe.
