Subaru Baja conversion.

I plan on using Leaf components to convert a Subaru Baja.
Unfortunately I have found only one low rust reasonably priced in my 5 state area. And is an automatic.

I haven't herd of anyone converting an automatic.

I have located some 5 and 6 spd manual transmissions that I could put in the car.

Would i need any computer modules from a manual subaru to make the leaf system work better?

Second question....
I have a complete 2017 base Leaf.
That is totaled. 40 kwh pack

I have an opportunity to purchase the motor and inverter and ?(charger) from a wreck leaf built 8/2022 . The complete motor stack. It was also a base model with a 40kwh pack that has already been sold.

What is the difference in motors and inverters between these two options?

And do i need to have a higher voltage pack to take advantage of the increase?

The newer stack with Toyota PDM has not been hacked yet so it won't work for now. CAN messages are different between those stacks. Otherwise there should be no significant differences exept that Toyota PDM is a slimmer profile and should be easier to fit. Also no higher voltage requirement but you can run a 108s battery so up to ~435v with Leaf stack if you want to.
